DerBegginBlue It's not even about "console-centric" communities. For the past few years, outside of the last couple of months, I've primarily been a PC player. League of Legends, DOTA, HotS, Smite, etc., they just feel so slow. They also define all the things Colin, Greg, and to some extent Tim said about why they dislike online games in a recent video. If a MOBA high-mobility MOBA came out, I might take a look at it. It's just the pacing of the current offerings are so slow, it all feels like Baby's First PvP Game. =|

I always played RTS (competitive and normal) but everytime i tried League my mind just goes "why am i playing this when i could play an RTS? where i have control of all my units instead of just one hero?" and then it's all donwhill from there xD. So yeah, although i have nothing against people who like and play games like these, i just can't understand it's popularity and aclaim, especially in the eSports community.

+HeavyMetalBakesale There are only two mobas. League and Dota 2. Anything else is a copycat unless we go back to HoN or the original DotA mod. The whole commercialization of Mobas and using new mobas as a tease in press conferences is marketing stupidity thinking people zap from moba to moba, which they don't. You pick one and get addicted to it and then you spend the rest of your life playing that.

+deliqquent I love Colin and enjoy Tim very much as a host but he clearly doesn't even know the basics. I wouldn't care if a bronze player was teaching Colin, as long as he could give a clear understanding of the game. What makes mobas so annoying is not knowing how to play. If Colin got a fair shot at League he might like it, though I don't think he would. League is just like Mega Man, it's about game play and bettering ones self. I'm a diamond player and watching this makes me cringe.

Oh god... when Colin typed in Wherever. XD. I used to play League and it was fun for a while. I liked playing as Teemo, Caitlyn, Ashe and Tristana. I like playing Heroes of the Storm as the matches are generally shorter and they don't have the tedious laning phases, etc. Also liked Dota II and playing as the Drow Ranger.

+Orion Pax depends on the monitor. The newer gaming monitors come with 144hz. And just like the difference between 30fps and 60fps. The difference between 60fps and 120fps is very very noticeable. Btw I'm a ps4 player so there's no PC Master Race bullshit coming from me. These are just facts.

This actually looks pretty interesting. Not sure how someone doesn't "get" it. My first Moba experience was some free-to-play mech game I tried. You could transform and fly your minions around the map, taking over smaller bases and eventually destroying the other teams base. I started playing Heroes of the Storm, and apparently this game is the more popular moba. Now I want to try it. Wonder how much of my experience with Heroes will transfer over to this.
