I’ve heard something like this from other qbs passed,..almost all qbs know what they need to improve on, many never figure out how. And by the time the ones that were fortunate enough figure it all out, the league has branded them career backups and has moved on. Sam Darnold is very fortunate on multiple fronts to have improved when he did and to get the chance to show it, Geno Smith is another great example.

I hate it so much when people say "how does a bad NFL player become a good coach or analyst" because first off they made the pros which is incredibly hard to do. Second off, sports are equally mind and body. Many good athletes can't be good coaches bc they lack the thinking. Many lesser athletes could still have the brains. That's why Phil Jackson and Ime udoka and Gregg popovich are the best coaches

Curious if Jordan would take a job with an NFL team as their QB coach? If i was running a team with a QB i was high on (to draft or in the bldg already) i would try and have his work exclusive to my program. Not saying hes the best of QB devs but worth the investment.

I love Jordan and the work he's been doing, especially for my man JA17!! But, one thing I don't understand, if he's been telling Josh to stop rolling right because of the big hits.. then he needs to tell him again! This year has been bad for that!! Baltimore Houston, Detroit, are three examples this year of bad hits while rolling right! :) GOBILLS!!!!!!

Caleb Williams doesn't show the character to rise above a failed rookie year.
@xjhkx2 күн бұрын
Some real stats that prove that the garbage time stats accumulated after going down 3 scores that the Caleb Williams fans are using to prove he is talented are all nonsense. - 45% of his yards are YAC, which is the highest YAC % in the league amongst starters. - Air yards average is bottom 3 amongst starting QBs. - 90% of the 20+ yards are all YAC. - Completion % is bottom 3 among starting QBs. - Pocket time of 2.4 seconds is the league average. 17 starting QBs have the same or lower. - 7th highest pass attempts (poorest completion %). You'll eventually get yards when you throw so much. - Time to throw is 2.91 seconds. 9th highest in the league. Highest amongst all rookies. Take out the games he played against the 2 worst teams in the league (Jaguars and Panthers) and some of his stats when averaged per game are the worst in the entire league. Completion drops to 58% and rating is in the 70s. Even Greg Cosell in today's show said that CW is not ready for the NFL. He is talented but can't play at this level.

@xjhkx2 күн бұрын
@@TurtleNeal none of them were called "generational" before they were drafted and had Vegas put them in top 8 of the MVP race before the season started. They didn't come in asking for an ownership stake in the franchise and say they will pass for 4k yards and their punter won't even be needed. They also didn't have 3 WR1s to help them. You need to remember that Chicago was almost a 10-win team last year (lost 3 games due to a defensive collapse in the final minutes) and only drafted #1 because of the Panthers' pick. CW will get better but he is half they player we were sold.
@richardescamilla34872 күн бұрын
@@xjhkx Thats the problem though, everyone hears the hype and believes it. Then the guy never really get the chance that an average QB taken late 1st or 2nd round would get. He'll be good he just need the chance to grow and develop. IDK what rookie wouldve done well in Chicago.
