+Kevin Marcel M. There's no "smh", he kept a majority of those Titans teams' afloat. 6 great seasons with the Titans and many, many .500 one's. It's a gamble with what Fisher did with the Titans. You can see that pattern with many accomplished coaches in the two major sports (football and basketball); the thought may be "Well, he's shown great success in multiple seasons, there's a chance he'll supersede, given the right environment and amenities.".

I have a lasting memory of Jeff Fisher that made me conclude that he was a terrible head coach many years ago during the Dallas Cowboys reign in the 90s... The Boys were playing at home against the Bears and Jeff Fisher was the coach... Dallas was really laying it on Chicago and on the sidelines, the cameras revealed Fisher and Harbough, who was the Bears' QB at the time, screaming at each other.... When I see Harbough today, I see a well disciplined man... and a coach winning football games wherever he goes, including his brother... I was confused that a QB would go after his coach that way... NOW I SEE WHY...

Jeff fisher basically did a move most leaders do. He took the hate away from his players. He protected his players. The players don't feel comfortable around Dickerson based on his comments so rather than having a sideline distraction he just absorbed the hate instead of sideline controversy with current players and hall of famers and based on this interview alone you could tell Jeff fisher was trying to correct the miscommunication but Dickerson wouldn't allow him too. This story is an overblown miscommunication

You're right they are a very bad football team, and telling the truth sounds bad. At the same time, Jeff Fisher, as the head coach, can't turn around and do him a favor. When things go bad and the guys on the sideline, knowing their head coach invited him, look over a see Dickerson standing there, shaking his head, what message does that send? Even Dickerson said, if Fisher had called and said be more constructive with your criticism, he would've understood. Dickerson never mentioned mentoring any of the players or being a positive influence on the sidelines.

I agree 150% that Jeff is an Avg to below avg HC who deserves to be canned. He always struggles offensively and without all those picks from RG3 who knows what the defense would look like. My sole issue has been everybody rips him yet the 2nd longest tenure HC in the NFL who has yet to win 1 not 1 playoff game Marvin Lewis gets a free pass. Both these coaches took over 2win teams. In Marvin's first 6 season he had 1 winning season 2 losing and 3 .500 football seasons. Don't get me wrong the AFC North is a tough division, but the NFC West during Fishers 5yr stent has been much harder. Seahawks arguably Top5 defense of all time double digit winning seasons every year. The 49ers had 2 yrs of great football and 1 mediocre yr. Cardinals 3 double digit winning seasons. During Jeff's 5yrs, he has coached in the hardest division in all of football and it's not even close. People say the only thing he's done was come up 1yd short of the Super Bowl. Well, what's Lewis done? He wasn't good in Baltimore till Rex showed up. And in Rex's first 3yrs he turned that D into the best of all time in my view. 14yrs as HC Lewis has had 7shit seasons and 7winning seasons. Fisher first 5yrs, no winning seasons. Bash Fisher all you want, but just understand there's a guy in Cincinnati that's just as bad if not worse. If Goff can be that Franchise QB along with a offensive draft that's gets O-linemen, TE, and WR who knows what could happen. I'd give Jeff one more shot next year and if they don't win 10games let him go. He is signed till 2018 but in the contract he can be let go after the 2017 season.
