This is the best squash casserole I have ever tasted. I use the cream of celery or cream of onion soup in the few I have made. This is a fantastic recipe. It's so good especially with fried green tomatoes on the side 😋

Glad you can get decent squash. My Piggly wiggly has squash that looks like gourds. I just buy canned ones in the small cans. We are supposed to get a Publix about 15 miles from me. Can’t wait. I love Publix and I know people say they are expensive. If you make a list, stick to a menu and use everything you buy, you get better quality.

I shop Publix here in FL. & love it. I hear most people say Publix is expensive, so of course I shop walmart too for most items but Publix produce & meats are good quality & affordable . LoL @ Gourds....good one Martha.

I didn't even get to make the sauce. I tasted the shrimp right after cooking and I couldn't stop eating. It was delicious. I will definitely make the sauce the next time. It was perfect without the sauce so I can't imagine how good it would be with the sauce 😋
