I agree with your shopping tips. If you go to the trouble (joy) of baking for family and friends, you really don't want to skemp on ingredients!

My Mama used to make peanut brittle every Christmas and the only skillet she would use is a cast iron skillet. She never used a candy thermometer, she used the “spin a thread” method. Everyone looked forward to her special gift every Christmas.

My husband made a paste out of crushed up vitamin C and water and spread it on my back when I got the shingles. I also take L Lysine and super vitamin b. Stress and low immune system brings it on I read. I wish I could eat peanut brittle. I love it.

I love my gun Tammy but I still check it once with an instant read, I hate the candy thermometer. Never heard of a Martha Washington ball. My favorite candy to make is caramel bottom, middle marshmallow then coated in bittersweet chocolate. Looks perfect, yummy.

I love peanut brittle. I just made one that was 1/2 Karo syrup and 1/2 Honey & it’s delicious. I do fix mine in the microwave. It’s so easy . Mix your sugar, syrup and peanuts, cook for 4 minutes, take out and stir, put back in for 4 minutes, take out and stir and add butter, and vanilla, put back in and cook 2 minutes, take out and add 2 Tbsp baking soda, stir and pour out on buttered pan. Use Tammy’s ingredients and only cook in a heavy glass batter bowl. Do not smooth out once on the pan. I will make this recipe though. I make most of Tammy’s recipes. Love you sweetie. ❤❤ These new microwaves needs to be turned down to 80% power.

For shingles, mix together zinc oxide, aloe vera gel, and the contents of a vitamin E gel cap. Put this cream mixture on the affected area. Relives the pain and the itch. Can apply as often as necessary. About equal parts of each ingredient.

Shingles, can reoccur bc they come off the nerve and mostly it occurs on your torso, it can even get on your head , once that nerve gets damaged it can always have everlasting nerve pain… so get your shot right away . Even though it is derivates from chickenpox you can get it anytime many times I’m going to try this recipe, I tried it in the microwave and it just turned to Carmel I like mine the color f peanut butter 😋 ❤fromTX
