Hi tammy in England we call it cottage pie if it's minced beef and it called shepherd's pie if made with minced lamb also i cover the top with the mashed potato and then grated cheese and it bakes beautiful

I love the Rada products. I cut my potatoes the exact same way, I always make extra mashed potatoes for exactly the dish you’re making, even freezing some so I have it when I need it. The best cottage pie I ever had was a precooked pie shell and the filling was ground beef, drained, with Campbells Alphabet soup ( 3 cans undiluted soup/ 1.5 lbs beef) mixed in. Top with mashed potatoes and cheddar. Bake at 350 for 30 mins. The flavor is AMAZING. It makes 2 pies. You will never want another shepherds pie.

This is not shepherds pie on any level. The potatoes are never layered in the bottom but instead a ring around the meat and vegetable mixture. The potatoes should’ve whipped with cream and butter to a very light, delicate texture. Your version looks more like a vegetable hamburger casserole.??😳🙄😬

@@juliecampbell7281 hi. I just wanted to share how I make it…I learned it from my former lunch room lady. She’s 85 now.. Here goes 1 pound of seasoned( salt, pepper , onion, garlic powder,and mrs. Dash…brown your hamburger meat add 2 jars brown gravy add 2 bags frozen mixed vegetables. Mix well Then put your meat,gravy, and veggies mixture on button of a large square baking dish. Add your buttered mash potatoes on the top, add cheddar cheese on top… bake 375 30 min There is never any left So we call it shepherds pie don’t really know what it is❤️I know I love it especially when Mrs. Vonnie made it.

Yeah, there are a lot of them. Didn't think to count them but there was one or two in the beginning, several at random points during the video itself and at least 3 at the end.
