Oh 100%, there is "Furina" and there is "Focalors". Between this and the version trailer I'm convinced they're two separate beings, or at least personalities- the klutzy, blustering Furina contrasted with the elegant, refined puppetmaster Focalors. That's why Furina is so confident preparations are being made, but doesn't seem to have details when pressed- Focalors made the preparations, and intentionally hid them from Furina to maintain the illusion of incompetence. It's all leading up to something big, and I honestly can't wait to see a Celestial Nail dropped on the whole nation.

The most important part of Furina's kit isn't even mentioned here. She has a dolphin jump. Furina, being who she is, doesn't even surface from below the water like a normal person if she's swimming rapidly, she jumps full power into the air and, provided you're near the shore, smashes face first at full speed into the nearest piece of land. Grace personified, this one!

There is something off about Furina. I doubt Hoyo simply forgot to do this but unlike the other archons, Furina doesn't have an aura in the character select screen. Also in her profile, she doesn't have a gnosis like the other archons or a vision like regular characters. Her hair also doesn't glow when using abilities. I gotta keep doing the archon quests to know what's going on

My only complaint about furina is that when multiple players are using furina they both can’t walk on water. I get that we can’t have all the salon members from each furina but as long as furina skill is active any furina in the game should walk on water. I was sm looking forwards to running on water with my friends in coop but only one furina can do it at a time.. so I have to switch to ayaka or wanderer. Ik that kokomi can also but her duration is sm shorter then the other options. Even Rizzley can stay afloat longer.. 😢

I pulled for Furina based on the Fischl Archon factor alone: her...unique personality. Her utility passive is crap, but the Jesus powers are great. I still don't understand her kit well, I don't know how to build fanfarre, seems she'll need at least C1 and maybe C2, her imaginary friends are kinda creepy, straight out of American McGee's "Alice: Madness Return", except the Singer of Many Water, but he's imobile. Overall, I'm very satisfied even though her audience vignette make the game looks silly. Most of all, I'm just glad I didn't lose yet another 50/50 to Mona, who alongside Keqing, are the only ones I get since I started playing in 2.8 Now its time to work for Navia, my last hope of geo salvation.

I have said this SO many time now. But the animation and particle effects in this game is absolutely outstanding!! I wish I had time to play games like this 😔
