Do you at some point plan to collect the vehicles, creatures and possibly play sets from 1986 - 1999 (until Phantom came out). This would include the updated releases of the original 3 films. Everyone needs a Ronto.

Have most of these. Either original Kenner or Power of the Jedi line - same molds (Snowspeeder, for example). But they're all out of the box or missing stickers. As a collector, all I care about is being able to one day display them, thus I've had to use repro stickers & things like the foam for playsets.

This is my favorite part of Kenner's line. I love them! I have most, but not all of the main ones based on vehicles seen in the movies. I only have the Speederbikes from Return of the Jedi and dont have the Jawa Sandcrawler.

I just want to say that I love your channel. I started watching way back when you first started and was doing the figure run. It motivated me to complete my run of the last 17 and I still needed 13 at that point. You (along with others) also gave me the courage to start my own channel. For this list, I would exclude the Droids vehicles. If you don't have any of the Droids figures now, then do a seperate run for the entire line. Then you can move to the Ewoks line. Good luck!

From your list, I had the 1978 X-Wing, 1978 Landspeeder, 1979 Millennium Falcon, 1979 Darth Vader TIE Fighter, 1979 Radio-Controller Sandcrawler, 1980 Rebel Armored Snowspeeder, 1981 AT-AT, 1981 Slave I, 1982 Scout Walker, 1983 Y-Wing, and 1983 Speeder Bike. All of these were sold long ago in garage sales, but I still have the fond memories of playing with them in the late 70's through mid-80's.

If you are going to leave both TIE Fighters on your list because they are different colors, they you should leave both X-Wings on there too. They are also different colors. the First being the white one with the clear canopy and the second being the grey one with the smokey canopy. It is more of a difference than just the addition of the battle damage stickers.

I’d say that if you are getting them today boxed and in excellent condition the costly ones will be the imperial shuttle, radio controlled sand crawler and the sonic controlled land speeder.

@@sbusiello Yes. I'm glad that I have a complete vintage Sandcrawler in my collection. That's extremely expensive and rare. It was hard to acquire when it came out in 1979 as it was very expensive for that time.

For what it’s worth, the battle damaged XWing has different color blasters and canopy than the original 1978, so for me, it qualifies as a different enough vehicle to qualify as needing to get both versions for completion. I know it does not fall within the year range of the vehicles you are looking for for this collection, but for the sake of display, I also wanted to get the electronic XWing from the 90s that was a re-pop of the same mold, with better electronic sounds. Then I can have all three of them displayed in flight formation.

Also, I had most of these as a child thanks to very generous grandparents, but being in a Navy family that moved many times, lots of my vehicles got purged for the sake of a move. I still have my original landspeeder, XWing, tie fighter, Darth Vader tie fighter, which I had signed by David Prowse, millennium falcon, tie interceptor, Y wing, B wing, and A wing. Recently someone gave me an imperial troop transport and a snow speeder in the box, and that is super cool… I have no idea what happened to my snow speeder many years ago and it has been really cool to have a complete one on display.

A fantastic run you're about to start Joey! I love those spaceships & vehicles so well engineered with great detailing and accessories. Not much variation to collect compared to Action Figures's run, like the X-wing fighter battle damaged hybrid Kenner/Palitoy version you're using in your thumbnail video. Ewok Battle Wagon is an interesting toy with a very nice POTF box but I didn't collect this one as it was not seen in Return of the Jedi (I wish Kenner ad that POTF box to the A-Wing fighter 😄) I will have one suggestion (not really a cheap one but so cool to my point of view) is to get the Darth Vader Tie Fighter or the Slave 1 with the Action Play setting offer. A very nice back drop display where to put your spaceship but not easy to find for a fair price. But anyway, go get them all!

Good luck on your journey. I have been all over the map on this one in terms of what's in and what's out. I "completed" my original run back in 2004, back then added to it. Originally I excluded the Battle Damaged X-Wing, Battle Damaged TIE Fighter, Imperial Cruiser and Ewok Battle Wagon. I've since added all of these to my collection. I would say the Battle Damaged X-Wing is different enough that it should be included, particularly if you have the Battle Damaged TIE Fighter. The Battle Damaged X-Wing is molded in gray plastic, not white and has a dark tinted canopy. I think of the Battle Wagon as part of the Ewoks line, which I don't collect. I found it at a price too good to pass up which is why I now have one. I added the Imperial Cruiser after getting the other three because I felt I could longer justify not having. I don't collect the Droids or Ewoks lines so I don't have the Side Gunner or ATL Interceptor. I do have the A-Wing, first it's from the movie and second a POTF version was being prepped for release when the line was canceled. If you looking for gorgeous boxes, I would put effort into looking for the Cloud City or ROTJ box for the Millennium Falcon. I also prefect the ROTJ boxes for the AT-AT and AT-ST. The Snowspeeder and Rebel Transport (the box says vehicle, so it is a vehicle) have two color variations on their backgrounds. Personally I like the blue versions better than the pink or yellow versions. But if you going to be display these a large group having some color more variation would be a good thing.

I already have a SLAVE1 and managed to get a Millennium Falcon in good condition ( I only had to use 2 repro stickers, missing the training arm and ball). I also got three mini rigs, INT-4 and AST-5, and the desert sail skiff in the original box. It is amazing to be the first to open a box from 1984 and see all the pieces packed and the stickers unused. In a few days, I will receive my first play set, the Hoth Imperial Attack Base which I found, 100% complete (no box) for 100 euros.

Battle damaged x wing was moulded in grey, not white. It has a smoked plexiglass glass canopy and the front of the engines are black. It’s different enough to count as a different vehicle.

I'm loving your content and will enjoy this run. I'm currently collecting the ships too. I was lucky enough to have my original childhood ones still in there boxes. I even had my Speeder bike still in the brown paper bag with the till receipt. I'm still needing 8 to complete ( Sand Crawler, Sonic land speeder, Original X-Wing, Imperial Cruiser, Imperial Shutter, A-Wing, ATL Interceptor and finally Side gunner) So basically the expensive ones !!! I'm not collecting in box though so it's a lot cheaper as I like to display everything, but must be 100% original, all parts and stickers as well. The mini rig run will be easy for me as had most as a child and still have them boxed. I'm only missing the Imperial sniper and the Security scout. So if you are collecting the Ships like A-Wing and Battle wagon shouldn't you also collect all Droids and Ewok figures?

@ Allow me to clarify. The ones you listed that are from the droids adventures I never considered to be apart of the need to haves. Otherwise, I’ve been collecting off and on since 1977. I’m one of those who collects several things from different venues. So I go back and forth a year at a time. And of course, my collecting took a slight dip on the collecting graph you could say, when I got married at 49 nearly 7 years ago.

I consider the Rebel Transport a Playset & a Vehicle but I never used it as a carrying case. I had way too many figures to fit inside. The Cloud Car and B-Wing are favorites of mine and to this day I still have not purchased an important vehicle- Which according to the Star Wars Zodiac; 2025 is the Year of the Imperial Shuttle...so, that's something I look forward to. I also think that, that is the bang you are starting off with. I also hope that other announcements in 2025 will be made concerning the figures missing from The Book of Boba Fett. I've been eagerly awaiting the "official" kickoff video for this Vehicle Run Joey. I'm still in the middle of my Run as well, so it will be nice to be there along with you. I've been pushing for "unused" & complete, with an intact POP box in as good of shape as possible. Where I get sidetracked is variants...so good on you for not going down that rabbit hole, but please wave to me if you happen to pass by at any time. 😉 The remote controlled Landspeeder & Sandcrawler will be epic installments on this Run. 😅 As for the Battle Damaged X-Wing Fighter, I know it's basically a sticker change but the body color was slightly different too, so I definitely think you should keep this on your run - it's essential IMO. I've got all of them that were available in the UK and a few that weren't. I wish I could get a Sandcrawler, maybe one day, but good luck to you with the Tattooine Skiff! PS; I'm not sure that anybody really believed the urban myth about the size of the figures as figures of that size were already established, Micronauts for example, and Fisher Price Adventure People were used by Kenner as rough prototypes for the SW line. Great list Joey! Here's an idea with the battle damaged x wing, obviously that is the same ship, but how about break the variant rule for this one and get a ROTJ Palitoy battle damaged X wing? As ours over here is a completely different ship, youd have both the x wings and a different variant without the lights and sounds! I think one of the pricest ones on that list and hard to find with be the droids A-wing. They are SO hard to find is amazing shape and great box. I think one of your first vehicles is the Imperial Shuttle as that box looks BIG! 😂

I would include the BD X-wing. The color is different and more realistic than the orginal both on the body and the canopy, its not just the added stickers. For me, I wanted 2 of each of the BD ships. One with the BD stickers on, and one with them off! I collect them complete with box, but not unopened. I completed my run early this year, although I am missing a few of the boxes and a few bits of paper inserts. The ATL Interceptor was the last one I got. VERY HARD to find one with the nose gun in good shape. I had to settle for a bent one, that I was able to restore using hot water.

@ I cringe every time I see a collector’s videos and they touch a playset or vehicle with their bare hands. Not so much when they touch a figure. I guess I’m OCD about it.
