How much do I love Australians. They have rebuilt a legend to the point of ( argueably) perfection. And the dude is: “yeah nah, fuck it, we just done what we wanted. Yeah, nah, it’s good huh?!” I love it! - -the engineering knowledge is undoubted. The personality is so laid back, it’s like reproducing the “Mona Lisa’s smile” , and someone with deadpan humour going, “aw yeah, we will give it crack!”

Simply put, the restomod craze highlights everyone’s currently unmet desire for beautiful, lightweight, engaging sportscars. There’s a huge niche for the right manufacturer to exploit. Something like the Alpine A110 (with MT and 6 pots, without the turbo, the fugly design and touchscreens, and … France) or the 987.2 6MT Cayman S (after losing 200kg)
