It’s a lot of work but for the most part I still get excited by new growth and spikes which means I’m not completely burnt out by it, 🤣 That was Knightley my new puppy. I will try to feature him soon, he is growing so fast! I was in love the day we picked him up. His personality is just perfect for us.

Hi!! 🙌🏼❤🙌🏼 PUPPY!! 🤸🏼♀🥰I remember your Sharry Babies from back in the day! Well done you for persevering and getting them to grow such gorgeous bulbs 😍 my Ionopsis struggled with the fumes from my gas heater... I lost 3 growths so far! I now work with cold hands because, no way am I going to loose orchids just because I need to find a way to stay warm! I am keeping my fingers crossed that your Popcorn makes it 🤞🏼and yes, I also remember your Seattle purchases! My goodness... you are the rescue guru! I have a Wildcat and yes, I misjudged the root habit on that one... lost an entire root system, after actually rescuing it 😅 now, I know that it needs a lot of water to encourage the roots to go into the pot and stay down there 👍🏼 the progress deserves a massive pat on back! Thank you for this update! I have managed to add some to the CareCollab database 😃 have a lovely evening, my fellow orchid lover ❤🙌🏼❤

I’m stubborn, simple as that 😂🤣😂 I won’t give up until they are dead. I’m sorry to hear about your Ionopsis, I am quite frustrated with myself on that one, I had two directions of growth and was getting a second spike from the latest growth. And I totally screwed it up 🤨🙄 I love my Wildcat but the roots never look very nice. However it grows well and blooms consistently. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you keeping me in mind for your care collabs! 💙❣️💙 I hope you have a lovely weekend my friend 🥰🌺🌸🌺🤗

Awesome collection! I recognized a few of my own orchids and also some that I've lost. Oncidium's are favorites!

I do really love the Wilsonara’s they make me smile. 😊 I do think I have to many though. It makes up a pretty large part of my collection 🙄😳😂

Great video Danielle. It really helped me, I have struggled with my oncidiums. I've put them in water culture and they are doing much better now. 👍💚 Susan in Georgia

Im struggling with the same issue! What do you recommend treating it with? Thanks! Love ❤️ you channel it’s my favorite ❤️🌺
@daniellesorchidranch15912 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure which issue I mention in this video 😂 So if it’s spider mites I used a water/alcohol/soap/mineral oil mixture and applied once a week for 3 weeks. If it’s fusarium I use Cleary’s 3336 but that stuff is no joke bad for you so I only use in warmer months when I can treat outside and only when I absolutely have to. I wear all kinds of protective gear and keep far away from my pets. I hope one of these answered your question and thank you for watching!!
@GingerSnap72 жыл бұрын
Sorry, it’s the fusarium, I should’ve been more clear! Thank you for answering my question! I got 2 orchids from an orchid show in my area and they both are experiencing the same symptoms, I’ve done everything in my power to fix them and nothing has helped!
@daniellesorchidranch15912 жыл бұрын
@@GingerSnap7 no problem! I just can’t remember what I ramble on about in each video 😂😆😂 Well if it’s fusarium the Clearys will definitely help but it’s potent stuff so if you want to try a less dangerous substitute first I wouldn’t blame you. I didn’t realize when I bought it how powerful it was.
@GingerSnap72 жыл бұрын
@@daniellesorchidranch1591 what do you recommend as a less dangerous substitute? This is all new to me! Never even knew about it until your video! Thx
@daniellesorchidranch15912 жыл бұрын
@@GingerSnap7 I honestly haven’t tried anything else so I can’t recommend a product but the channel Miracle Orchids is a good resource for this information, she actually wrote a book about fusarium and what works best. If you look at her older videos she has a few on the subject.

That’s a lot of Oncidium types! They grow better than Cattleya types indoor? Maybe? I know oncidiums grow better in my climate… so I also have quite a few…
@daniellesorchidranch15912 жыл бұрын
They certainly seem to, I have to say I have been expending minimal effort on them and they are all alive and some are doing quite well. You have an excuse to have quite a few, you sell them 😂
