The guitar solo to Why Pt.2 in this particular performance made me miss Ross Childress. He was flawless.

You're right. Loved the song, but it sounded kinda flat.

He clearly had flaws. Great player. Not a great person.

I was there and it was a great fun night. Liked the warm up band that was on right before them too. It was a collection of all-stars musicians.

As long as there is breath in our lungs the opportunity exists to forever expand our knowledge. Sometimes late IS better than never. Peace and comfort to all. Especially in Gaza, Israel, and Ukraine.

CS and Needtobreathe are the best bands out there. Both are great live and both are immensely talented.

I was at this show and the sound was fantastic - the acoustics at the Tabernacle are awesome. Why is the audio mix on this video so terrible and unbalanced? Doesn't do them justice.
@thefireywater7 жыл бұрын
John Farrish I was just about to comment the same. I was at this show too and the horrible Live Nation audio mix on the internet stream does no justice to how this sounded live.

The opening show of the tour in Orlando was FAR better-they were paying homage to the city that got them started, and were extremely fired up! Ed's fly kept coming undone-he finally had a roadie bring out duct tape-black on white pants. And Will Turpin was there also, but he didn't play...

Well, I don't like the fact that he changed the tone of many of the songs. I loved them just the way they were.

Drummer started the loop too early for Why Pt 2. His band mates weren't ready, poor guy.

I'm sure he caught hell for it too... from Ed.

@@lindsaynicole1218 Ed isn’t Axl Rose lol Ed’s a nice guy if you have seen him in interviews and in person. He loves his fans
@AndreaSutherland-t1v11 ай бұрын
I think something different happened. Ed introduced a song that was not the next on the set list. The band played the right song, which surprised him. He says that after the song.
@drvee198310 ай бұрын
Maybe it's just me, but why are the guitarists rushing the tempo and not listening to the drummer trying to keep them in time? He's trying to keep up with them instead of visa versa. Great musicians not in time, and Ed Roland is trying to slow them down himself and get in the groove. I've played in too many bands where this happens. It's hard to fix it live.
@chrisheasty9 жыл бұрын
Does anyone else think the acoustic guitar sounds terrible. It sounds like me playing my acoustic guitar along with Collective Soul records. I hope Ed drops that. It sounds horrible. Way too high in the mix. Tinny and thin and out of tune.
@216trixie9 жыл бұрын
+chrisheasty No. Sounds good to me. Besides, this is a board mix. Probably sounded better in the room. But this doesn't sound bad at all. And which are you talking about, the 6 or 12 string?
@ja8ames7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I agree. The acoustic just doesn't sound good in the mix with everything else. The little open strums that Ed does in "Precious Declaration" are a cool idea in theory but sonically they really take away from the song.
@dingdong24436 жыл бұрын
This drummer's got no soul. His playing is so bland and machine-like. He does alright, but they could've found someone who played more like Shane Evans.
