I went to high school with Ed. He was voted “most talented” senior superlative. Everyone knew how good he was even back then. I remember him doing a cover of The Cars, “Just what I needed” in a talent show one year. That had to be around 1980 or ‘81. After he graduated high school, he worked at a recording studio in the small town where we grew up. He struggled for years until “Shine” came out. We’ve always been proud of Ed and Dean. They have represented our town of Stockbridge, GA well.

One of my brothers friends was the bassist Will Turpin. I actually got to hang out with him and my brothers friends band, such an awesome dude.
