Have you tried routing two Rekordbox Channels into two Channels in Ableton? I think its a bit easier than warping every track in Ableton
@shuffle56782 жыл бұрын
i tried this...but i think you need 2 laptops to do this? i have a focusrite and was trying to use the loopback, but focusrite only has one set of virtual inputs, which go to external 9/10. so you can't split the rekordbox decks into 2 channels in ableton, the audio from the decks gets mixed into the loopback. am i doing anything wrong?
@benjo73702 жыл бұрын
It’s a virtual in and output device with 8 channels
@shuffle56782 жыл бұрын
@@benjo7370 what is, rekordbox? I don't think you can just send rekordbox audio to Ableton without an audio interface, right? That's what I can't figure out. Using my focusrite as audio interface, it only has one set of virtual inputs. So both decks in rekordbox end up getting mixed into the virtual input 9/10, even though in rekordbox I'm sending the decks to separate outputs. I feel like i have a fundamental misunderstanding here lol

Isnt this a massive ballache to set up when you could (more easily)* get a set of decks or a controller? *Not necessarily :P

That's what I was thinking. You're gonna have to do 100 things while DJing LIVE? Might as well get serato and buy some decks..

This is programming. Not DJ'ing. There is absolutely no performance value to this method. It's cool and fun...but let's not conflate what this actually is.
