Hero items don’t use the gems system. The effect you have is chosen when the item is born.

agree that the collector's cache was unexciting. not one set for a hero that I play, and most sets are for heroes that already have lots of cosmetics already.

really? im the opposite. i've ignored the last 3 collector's cache but i spent the 40 bucks i had in my steam account and bought 13 treasures. got all but pudge. im happy with it

So far in Dota, every set which is for a persona... has come with the persona unlock if you do not already own it :)

I’m working on it but because they aren’t tradable or marketable right now I’m not rushing. The only way to get them is by unboxing and the chance of getting any particular one you want is so low you might as well not bother.

Each arcana set has one item which is the actual arcana, that controls whether you get the Hero icon, Ability Icons, Custom Sounds etc - for Jugg that used to be his Head slot, meaning if you wanted the arcana in game, you were not able to equip any custom head slot items. The same for Pudge's back slot. Valve made a separate Item slot called "hero base" just for the arcana itself. So you can equip the arcanas and have free range to use what ever other cosmetics you'd like with them.

All frostbloom items were available on the market in December 2023. Any set from the Frostivus Chest 2023 will have an Unusual Item available on the market.

I just kinda dont understand why they picked some of the heroes that got sets literally in the event treasures, for example Meepo has a very rare set in Crownfall treasure (and lets be real its a waste for 99% of players), AM has an ultra rare Persona set, QoP, Naga got a set as well... Jugg and Pudge are understandable tho, those heroes are just too popular and the sets are great.

I don't believe so - 4:59 I mention it. The original crownfall update didn't mention the crownfall unusuals anywhere, so it's not surprising that this doesn't either but as far as I can tell, there is no evidence that they do drop unusuals. The items aren't set up for particle effects, so they're either broken or don't exist. But I could be completely wrong and they do drop, but I don't think they do, as of now.

I agree with you. Two persona at common, and extra cool pudge and jugg. The jug head in this cache is the natural holder the golden immortal sword. He looks shiny with those. oh, add that expensive gold-like shoulder and arm from market, put on the arcana and you rizz up the hero super bling. Oh yeah, Nyx is nicely mech style and snap looks rare quality. overal design looks different than the hero common looks. I mean, look at Luna and her wolf.
