Eric is a pompus 'nice guy' who thinks he's a lot more high iq than he actually is. Both of them have narcissism. Actors usually have narcissism. His is covert. They are both people I wouldn't ever enjoy spending time with as a real person from Scotland. They both seem looney

My only issue is that everyone seems to sympathize with Colleen in the end when its so clear that shes a narcissist who only cares about herself but the second Eric starts talking she acts bored, annoyed, treats him like hes stupid

it's true - maybe it was later podcast ep I reacted to, but I did mention she needs to at least apologize and clarify it's not him making her yawn (unless it is... which she then needs counseling and a big humility check).

I would love to see more analysis like this. Their newest podcast also shows him clearly frustrated with her first telling “the longest story ever,” and then with her not paying attention to his “boring” thought while yawning nonstop. She does seem so excited, alert and interested when she is talking about herself, and then immediately claims she’s tired and can’t stop yawning when he talks about something he’s interested in. I’ve never seen him get so annoyed with her about this though she’s done forever. I would love a reaction to this one. His frustration part is in the second half towards the end.

Idk mannnn/// you’re going after Erik for holding that helmet up, but that breeaaath he took after mentioning a criticism of TS leads me to believe this is REAL angst and that he is verryyy used to her attacking if he says something she could possibly perceive as a criticism… (not only of HER but of anything she likes). I agree, his set-up was passive-aggressive. But he lives with a control-freak who’s incapable of being wrong - MUST prove she’s right, who’s cracked out from ADHD meds and undereating, save the two-cookie dinner she slams in the war with her blood-sugar- - this makes one a bit shell-shocked. One gets the feeling these podcasts come after a long evening of squabbles and eggshells- that he might rather not keep up the public wife-chat, but it’s his contribution- “work” to earn his side of the bed (care-taking all 3 tots isn’t enough). These two are unquestionably riding a toxic-cycle, and they both contribute to it. Erik is worn-down, worn-out, and stubborn to prove he’s not a pushover. Colleen is AMPED-up from playing offense-as-defense all day. • BUt, I don’t interpret Erik’s set-up // (the helmet move) as antagonism- Looks to me like he knows what punishment this statement could bring, and he’s preparing to put his head in the guillotine. … I swear, Colleen’s forehead-vein flexed the moment he said “Taylor”.

She cannot STAND that he doesn’t let her finished her sentences. She wants everyone to shut up and listen to her at all times. And he has way too many opinions for her likings, she can’t even finish her thought without him butting in. She can’t control him. Love that for her, now she knows how it feels to not be listened to.

I don't know I think it's way more obvious that the reason he chose to bring this up on the podcast was because he felt like it was a more neutral ground because I feel like just from his actions she treats him terribly and this is probably one of his only times that he can actually say what he feels. After he made that comment about it not being music and going to bed I promise she made his life living hell

The only time she remotely behaves herself is in front of the camera. They both use it to manipulate each other. She will ask him for things on the pod to try and force him to agree, liking bringing their kid on a romantic overnight he had been planning for months.

Is treating her with ANY malice..💯🤷‍♀️💯 She’s SO Passive Aggressive & that poor man has been terrorized with Taylor Swift 🎶 No Disrespect for Taylor Swift but the manic playing/her belting out TS songs would be MADDENING 🙇‍♀️🤷‍♀️🙇‍♀️ He’s participated in her TS obsession sincerely & trying to respectfully answer her stupid “People Online” criticisms are about him not loving rocks & TS @ her obsessive level.. Damn, he’s a freaking gem 💎 lol She’s a Narcissist… An energy sucker, predator, etc I hear the anxiety in his voice but his desperate need to set a boundary w/ a dash of resentment.. But I hear his tone as sincere. And I’ve got LOTS of Relationship experience (From picking the Worst to Seeing an A$$hole a mile away) 🥹 Plus, lots of Therapy to recognize undertones & the details of expression & my take away of Eric is an authentic sensitive guy. However, I think he’s married to a Monster… I’m Praying For Him Still love your views & you picked up some interesting parts to really show their dynamic but CB is so weird & manipulative that watching Eric trying to deal with her STUPID People on the internet BS 🙄
