I work in PR. I can guarantee you the reason she made this video via song and humor is because she only cares about one stakeholder- her child audience. Her language and use of music is more palatable to her younger audience, even if the topics are absurd and disgusting. And she recognizes this incredibly young audience doesn't have the capability to hold her against her own words when she does this type of apology. Adults recognize its wrong and that an authentic apology would be appear different- an infatuated child would accept any type of apology because they still don't have the social experience behind them to recognize inauthentic communication. Me too, I enjoyed watching her family vlogs since 2020 but also felt the trauma dumping was out of control. Didn't watch Miranda Sings cause her character was nasty. To learn this now scrambles my brain and her obvious avoidance of taking any responsibility makes me fearful of how easily youngsters can be thanks to situations like this. It's 1 year later and I'm still in shock over this ukulele video. Adam handled everything with such grace and strength. I cannot imagine the long lasting trauma that Colleen caused to Adam, and then to have all of this play out years later with Kodi and Johnny. Adam I've had a lot of life stuff going on, so haven't been keeping up with your life and videos lately but please know even a year later I still support you so much! I am almost 32 so older than you lol but to have had all of this situation happen at such a tough time meaning late teens and early 20's, I am so incredibly proud of how much strength you showed during this horrible time. I'm glad you were finally vindicated in the public, but you never deserved the amount of hate and harassment you received from her fans. I know between losing Tyler, then this situation, then Milo. I know you had a year from hell and have since moved twice. I truly hope things are going better for you and will hopefully catch up on your latest videos soon.
