Animenz is mostly known as "Father of Anime Piano". Born and classically trained in German, but Anime changed his life and moved out from his conservatory to grown up as an Anime Piano Pianist instead of Classical Pianist. Keep reacting to him, every piece he's covered to has its own special technique. For example, if you're looking for fast playing techniques, you can check his cover of Unravel. If you're looking for accurate and extreme difficulties in classical pattern you can check his cover of My Dearest. And If you're looking for his "three-hands technique", you can check his cover of bios. And of course many more. Animenz shows the different ways to play piano, I'm an classical pianist too and when I'm tired of the "classics", Animenz music changed me, now I enjoy my play more. Maybe Animenz will be a great reference for you guys in piano journey. Most people says that we in next 200 years will learn his piece in daily. Lol.

Animenz is great anime pianist but he's not "Father of Anime Piano". He even got inspired by marasy8.
@reypan794311 ай бұрын
@@riochii7386 yes of course he is not the first in this industry. But, he is the most successful anime piano pianist to date. If we're compared about the oldest in the industry like kyle landry, marasy, theishter, and other of his predecessors, he is not so far off too. So being apart for 3 or 4 years doesn't eliminate their position as a legend, so we can admit that 'they' are the fathers of this industry. Also, I'm not really sure but i dont think that animenz is inspired by marasy, because the way they play is very different. But, i reminds that everyone have their own stories that didn't tell, so #cmiiw thanks.

So late to this two-part series but I loved it - so refreshing to see a reaction video where the viewers have something to bring to the table. Apart from Ru, Marasy and Animenz, I think Mr. Li Piano's cover brings a fresh (and highly technical) take to the song - same with SuuPiano's, so I'd recommend those two if you're interested in delving further! Also, since you were talking about piano sound editing in the previous video, know that Animenz uses the MIDI recorder of his Steinway Spirio and renders the output with a tweaked preset of the VSL Synchron Steinway D VST (you could say it's a glorified soundfont) P.S. He has an assistant who changes the moon lamp colors via remote

These reactions were really fun! You guys mentioned jazz pianists doing anime covers... if you want some good ones, I recommend Goza's Piano Channel, Cateen, and Jacob Koller. Goza and Cateen are both classically trained, and Cateen in particular leans pretty heavily into his classical side. If you want a direct comparison with Animenz, I believe Goza and Jacob Koller both have Mixed Nuts covers.

Animez originally was a classical pianist but he grew to love anime music and so he's trying to turn anime music into classical music. That's why his music has a lot of classical themes to it in case you didn't know. Also thanks a lot for showing his video's to more people it breaks my heart to see my role model as a hidden gem when he deserves so much more considering all his hardships to make sure we keep getting his videos.😊

Crying for rain is just a technique masterclass, vogel im kafig is the perfect combination of technique and raw emotion, and sakayume is probably animenzes most recent Chopin inspired piece.

If y'all plan to react to more of Animenz.... then boi do I have news for you. This piece could barely be considered a medium level piece from him. Check out his Unravel, My Dearest (I slightly have a personal preferance towards the old original cover), Guren no Yumiya (full version) etc... among many other of his pieces that make you want to just lay down and pass away when you try to play them.
@mixedmaniac7957 Жыл бұрын
Also, I dunno if he still does this but, as far as his arranging process goes, I think back in the day at least he used to finish arranging the piece on the sheet music before ever touching the piano. I don't know if this is normal since I'm self taught but that thought just blows my mind.
