I got 31. That's an average of a "Stanford" every 22 seconds. I think I might've missed a few, though.

Hey Jasmine! Johns Hopkins is actually my dream school, so I was wondering if you could do an in-depth video on your app, essays, etc for Hopkins! Thank you! ☺️

Yes I will put that on my list of videos to complete in the near future! Thank you for your input and support!

I watched all your videos to get ready for college apps! This season was insanely stressful. I was kind of in the same situation as you, except my parents made me apply ED to JHU BME. I’m very happy about my acceptance and can’t wait, but I’m terrified of the competitive culture and feel bad for wishing I could at least apply to Stanford which was my dream lol

Thanks for making your videos. I'm applying to Stanford this fall, and your videos really helped me get a better picture of what it takes. We have very similar scores and ECs, so it definitely sort of calmed some of my concerns and gave me some confidence.

thanks for the reply! I'm actually working on my stanford app now so HOPE to see you on the farm because I literally TOTALLY relate to you because stanford is MY ACTUAL DREAM. I just hope the rate is still high for international students bc thats me lol. Is there anything I should do differently because I'm an international student?
@JasmineRodriguez6 жыл бұрын
I believe that most things are the same (aside from financial documents) if you are going through Common Application to apply. My friend who is going to be in my Stanford class just posted a video interviewing a KZbinr who is an international application attending Cornell this fall. My friend's channel is "The Kath Path" and I think that video is her most recent upload! Check it out if you have questions about applying as an international student and feel free to DM me on instagram if you have any questions pertaining to the Stanford app in general. Good luck!

did u have stanford legacy?
@JasmineRodriguez6 жыл бұрын
Yes! My mom graduated from Stanford in 91' with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
@rushaned.28676 жыл бұрын
Jasmine Rodriguez doesnt that increase your chance astronomically?
@JasmineRodriguez6 жыл бұрын
R.D Because Stanford’s application pool is so competitive, being a legacy is a lot less of an advantage than it used to be. It is simply just another small bonus to your application. We received a letter prior to admission letting all the alumni know that their legacy unfortunately cannot be much of an advantage anymore due to the size of the pool.
@williamstomber95876 жыл бұрын
The legacy admit rate is 3x as high as the regular admit rate. You can find the letter Stanford sent out this past year on reddit. They expected the legacy admit rate to stay roughly the same for the class of 2022. If you didn’t get into Berkeley and penn, you can more or less assume your legacy did play a role in your acceptance. That’s not to say you couldn’t have gotten in without legacy, but it definitely helped.

Alara Dogru For Stanford specifically, there are just optional. You can submit them if you’d like. They don’t require/recommend it for specific majors. It’s up to you!
