How easy was it to make friends in this living situation? I really want to live in a single dorm but I dont know anyone attending uic and I was thinking that this would be be the best choice since I would be sharing some things with a few other people and have a better chance to connect with some of them. Also, thanks for the video! I love your dorm :)

hey, girl, i love your video I am about to attend UIC in the Fall I was wondering if you knew the difference between a suite single and a cluster single?

I can't speak for suites I'm attending UIC in the fall as well buy as far ad cluster goes....it is essentially a cluster of 5 and or 8 rooms where u have your own room . In the cluster there is 1 or 2 bathrooms that everyone in the cluster shares along with a small living room type deal. I will be in a cluster double with a few of my friends and we are excited I hoped this kinda helped 🤷‍♂️

thank you! how exciting!:) yup isaiah pretty much summed it up! i'm not too sure what the difference is either, but i was in a cluster single and we had a living room and two bathrooms since there were 8 people. i really enjoyed this setup, so i would go for the cluster single if you want something similar!

How many outlets are in a single room in JST? And I’ve seen dressers with 3 drawers and some with 5?

I believe I had 2 outlets in my single! And all of the dressers I’ve seen in rooms at JST had three drawers, but it could be different in other dorms:)

I actually never considered depaul, but I'd say both schools have their perks! I personally chose UIC for the city and the diverse campus:)
