Oregon has wins over 3 over the other 7 teams in the playoff . They really couldn't find anyone else to match up in the first round . Hopefully change is coming so the in the future an undefeated isn't punished for winning by making their first game against the 2nd best team in the country . The rematch had to be in the finals ... disappointed to say the least

I don't think I've heard that one yet. I know OSU fans keep hearing "20 mil" all year. I believe it though, people hate success when their team can't obtain it. NIL does need a cap though, I don't want CFB to turn into baseball. Good luck to the Ducks, but not too much. O-H!

Oregon played Ohio state at home . Ohio state had 2 turnovers , 20 penalties , bad pass interference call in the game winning drive , and there coach had to put 12 men on the field and still only beat us by 1 point by a last minute field goal . Ohio state lead the 3rd , and 4th quarter . If Ohio state plays clean and doesn’t turn the ball over multiple times we win . #GOBUCKS

Oregon got a INT ripped from them missed FG and DG didn’t see Tez on a 4th and goal. Had a TD drive that turned into a FG bc Holden spat in a players face. Didn’t have their best pass rusher all game in Burch. Shoulda been won by 10+. OSU had no pressure on Gabriel and that’s not a fluke bc ever since they fixed the C problem in week 2 no one has put pressure on the QB. OSU abandoned the run after Harmon took the ball away from Judkins yet all buckeye fans see is what they want to see and not what actually happened. The buckeyes weren’t physical enough that’s why yall lost and your coaches played scared abandoning the run. Ryan Day ain’t that great and it’s a shame bc that’s the best roster in all of cfb. Oregon by 10+ this time around even tho I know this might bite me later I just can’t trust Ryan Day

Oregon had trouble with Boise State and beat Wisconsin by a FG. The first game in October the Buckeyes had two turnovers, Oregon recovered a surprise onside kick and still took a phantom offensive PI to win by a point. That loss caused the Buckeyes defense to change and hasn't given up a passing TD since that game. The inconsistent offense has caused some games to be closer than they should. New QB, best WR is a freshman, #3 is a sophomore and injuries to OL, thats football no excuses for that. However that loss in the Game has lit a fire under the players and coaches and the Ducks have the misfortune of being in the way.

Those are not tradition that college fans love. They are money-driver decisions. Fans in the south like this system, because it brings the games to them and give their teams an unfair advantage. But they are not fair. Nick Saban was right. Games should be hosted by the higher ranked team, or at least rotated and be played all over the country and not just in the south.

you guys are just towing the party line, 12 teams is FINE, you SHOULD have 16, the problem isn't too many teams, it's too few teams gobbling up all the recruits and other teams not getting any spotlight to recruit. This year they finally have that chance to get noticed and improve their recruiting but you wanna take that away immediately? the NFL was really off balance when they merged with the AFL but after some time they evened out and elevated the level of play all around. This idea of "too many teams" is trash from the people who want to stifle competition.

Ohio St lost the first game more than Oregon won it. To date, the Buckeyes have been playing better defensive while Oregon needed a lot of ref help to win in the Big 10 title game (so many pass interference calls not called). The Ducks are a paper tiger and a fraud. Ohio St will win by 21 pts. Just watch.

Outside of Tennessee who is super mid Ohio State hasn't been good on offense against decent defenses. They make bad defenses look bad sure. 3 teams all year held Oregon under 35. UM, Nebraska and PSU held Ohio State under 24....

This guy has two brain dead takes in a row. 12 teams is not a problem. The way they did the bracket is the problem. At a bare minimum they should reseed after the first round like the NFL. And Oregon *did* get the shaft with this bracket. There should be a motivation to be undefeated and #1 in the country. A *coach* motivating his players by saying "we want to play the best" is different from *CFB fans and pundits* figuring out a good way to run the bracket.
