The hardest part about opening an auto shop is getting all of the tools. That being said, you can still get started without everything.
@SweatVenture Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can slowly build a collection of tools and equipment.
@MostGenericUser3 ай бұрын
Yeah I mean if you can find clients you can do it mobile with not many tools and dont even need a shop you'll make good profits too with almost no overhead. Especially if youre just starting out on the side and having people pay cash you can build up money to eventually become more legit. Only issues is liability is high you really need to be careful what jobs you accept in the beginning.

Great video! I’m going to recommend some family and friends in that area to that shop. I myself have been considering opening a mechanic shop with a friend and hire mechanics just second guessing with today’s market & cars requiring expensive softwares to diagnose/ADAS/Etc.. and with the way the car market is going.

As an owner youd really want to make sure you understand cars very well even if you dont work on them yourselves and then need a really good trustworthy forman to help you with the actual repair side.

How does he still find the best price on the part while also making on the part? Those are conflicting interests
@SweatVentureАй бұрын
He likely uses a mix of strong supplier relationships and bulk purchasing to get parts at a good price while still leaving room for a fair markup. It's all about finding that balance between offering value to the customer and maintaining a profitable business.
