The best is just go to universities straight for nursing

So both SON and CON write pts? And which does university teaching hospital fall under?
@lifeofacertainbech4 ай бұрын
@@harmless_avocado2004 SON & CON writes pts. University teaching hospital is under a university
@harmless_avocado20044 ай бұрын
@@lifeofacertainbech Im sorry this is confusing, so if I'm attending LUTH OR ABUTH for an HND program would I still write pts? Since technically it's not SON or CON
@lifeofacertainbech4 ай бұрын
@@harmless_avocado2004 you can’t get hnd for nursing in a university You can only get hnd for nursing in a CON Then you only write pts in a CON or SON not university

@@lifeofacertainbech I'm talking about university teaching hospital though Cuz what they do is 4 years ND/HND I know in university it's 4 sometimes arguably 5 years where one of your degrees is BNSC

A friend studied Biochemistry and she has completed NYSC but she does not have a job yet. Her husband who currently resides in the UK wants her to enrol in a school of Nursing in Nigeria or the University. I would like to know if: 1. If she's able to go to the UK for her masters, masters in what course can she apply for (please bear in my that she is a Biochemistry graduate) that would give her chances of securing a good job in the UK ( At least, a kind of job that would still make her earn something close to what Nurses earn)? 2. Can she apply for the BSc Nursing through direct entry and how many years? Does she still need to do JAMB? 3. If she enters School of Nursing, can she work w the certificate in the UK without doing BNSc?
@lifeofacertainbech2 ай бұрын
@@aurabee123 Okay, so I’m not very familiar with biochemistry but according to the internet she can do her masters out there on things like genetics, cell biology, microbiology, etc And still according to the internet(might be wrong, might be right) the pay range is £24,000-£50,000 per year. 2. She can’t enter BSc nursing, she’d have to retake jamb and start from year one and then complete the whole 5 years 3. Yes she can. You should also let her know that she’d need jamb for the school of nursing (now College of Nursing) too. And that would be 4 years as well
