After the last 1/2 hour of JL I think they're finally ready to give us the first good Superman since the 70s. The villain will be key. They need him to be powerful, different than Clark, and for there to be room to make the film uplifting and fun (as well as serious and cool). Hopefully no Brainiac for now, since he will be incredibly difficult to introduce correctly. It should either be a brutish villain like Mongul or an Earth-bound villain who can have a tragic story (like Grundy).

Don’t mean to be rude, but when you get to interview Geoff Johns you gotta give HIM the platform to speak. This interviewer’s style made it way too much about sharing his OWN opinions that it just seemed to make all of the questions weak/persuasive so Geoff Johns could then only respond based on the interviewer’s opinionated interpretations of DC films/filmmakers. Bit disappointing really.. & I’m a big fan of Geoff Johns who likes hearing what he has to say whenever he’s interviewed- Oh well, whatever, nevermind.

I'm tired of seeing people like Steve essentially shit on a Superman movie created by Snyder and Nolan that was not only ahead of its time but it one hell of a story. I didn't sign up for circus Superman. I didn't sign up for MCU Superman. I signed up for real Superman who experiences real emotions and has the weight of the world on his shoulders. On the one hand he says "Superman The Movie, Dick Donner forever", then you actually go back into Richard Donner's on his intention for the movie to make it more grounded and serious, than what Slakinds wanted (i.e. just slapstic comedy, Superman III is pretty evident of that). And then you go into comics that written with Richard Donner. No bodguet restrains, or producer influence. And there is whole different Superman there than in his movies.

OK people I'm gonna say it right now. Ben Afleck Batman has to be about how he lost Robin, it has to be a heart wrenching tragedy that explains why he kills now and why he was so tormented in BvS. It has to have him dig deep emotionally and he has to suffer and audiences have to connect with this inner turmoil, it must feel real and it will be Ben Aflecks magnus opus in terms of acting range. That tragic scene where Wonderwoman lost Chris Pine has to be amped like 10x when Batman loses Robin to the joker. Then we will have the perfect Batman story for the DCEU. And in the post credits scene we see Nightwing coming to pay his respects and condolences to Batman about how he changed and now kills, and then saying how he wants in on the joker vendetta. This will queue up Nightwing and a future teen titans movie. Boom. That's the only way I see batfleck make a compelling enough story. Then you can make a part 2 and 3 about whatever other story or villains you wish, but this would kind of be a story about how Batman lost robin and a backstory of sorts to the DCEU Bruce Wayne.

Phantom Atom Films: The studio assigned him additionally with a role of presiding over the DCEU films once. What happened to that now? What happened to Diane Nelson..huh? Zack, goddamn has also a story credit for WW with a screenplay from a talented person. Why can't you mention that? Are you the idiot here? He is a good writer and proved not capable of presiding with both tasks. That's my point. Walter Hamada could be one reason why DCEU can have one reason to advance. Danny Guy oh yeah letting his father die is so inspiring! His father telling he shouldn’t have helped those kids is inspiring and hopeful? What’s so hopeful about the ending? It was just destruction porn and the movie filled with Jesus references and dumb shit. Nothing heroic or inspiring or hopeful. Where was the hope you see in it? What was so inspiring and heroic? There is nothing real about it 😂.

But Warner Bro is the boss of DC is not there choice i might be shame if i heard a news , of Geoff Johns want Supergirl in Man Of Steel 2 but Warner Bro doesn't agree . Henry Cavill needs to hang up the superman cape, he must be well aware of how his reception of the character is waaaaay too polarizing, people either are ok with it or just hate it....nobody is in love with his interpretation and two movies showing his death and then his asinine resurgence, and fans were like whatever...should give the heads at WB the obviouse message to recast!!!! LET CAVILL FOCUS ON BEING THE NEW BOND!!!!!

The issue wasn't with Cavill, he's the perfect choice. It was the creative and executive decisions that stymied Cavill because they insisted on a sombre and dark depiction which didn't suit the character.

Too much time has passed between man of steel (2013) and the sequel if there's ever gonna be one, DC has waited much too long, & I don't think Cavill wants to do it anymore, from what I've read :)

Although my point is the reason his Superman hasn't registered with the general audience is down to characterisation/direction of Snyder et al. They put him in a virtual straitjacket by insisting on a dark and melancholy Superman and expected audiences to warm to it which they didn't. Cavill can do the charming Supes like Reeves, we saw that in JL. With the right writer and director he can give us the definitive Superman film. From the interviews I've seen, I have the impression Cavill is still really up for the role and wants to do another solo film. He's not been given a fair chance in my view.

Man of Steel 2 can't happen unless he goes back in time and saves Pa Kent. Superman is not the "boy scout" without having a physical father figure in his life. Jor-el doesn't count.
