YES it is the best soap opera of ALL time! I was a child when it was being filmed live! I use to come home from school n remember the scary creepy theme song being played as my grandmother would watch it every single time it was on! Now almost 60 yrs.old myself am watching it on prime video! I love it so much! We pay extra 15dollars just for that! It is well worth it to me!

great interview. You should read Grayson Hall: A Hard Act to Follow. Her son gives her such lovely accolades and it is a peek into the sophisticated world of the mid 1960s Manhattan, when Grayson and Sam's dinner parties were the place to be. He says his mother would pack his lunch for school and when the other kids were eating PB&J's, Matt would have a thermous filled with artichokes with vinegrette. Such was his sophisticated childhood. The book is worth your time, very interesting.

She was a very enigmatic figure and didn't really get a lot of notice by the public at large until Dark Shadows, and now with the reruns new younger people are getting into her, probably because of her camp personality. She was a very great theater actress and was nominated for an Academy Award for her great portrayal of a lesbian tour direction in NIGHT OF THE IGUANA starring Burton and Taylor, a fabulous movie. Anyway, you will enjoy the book, for sure.

I can see both parents in Matt. I enjoyed both versions of the show. Don’t know why the 1990 version didn’t last longer. I remember Angelique at the door as the first season ended. I waited years for it to return.

Is he still alive? Out of curiosity I checked the New York State website for lost money and apparently his mother had a bank account which is still being held by the state Comptroller‘s office; if anyone knows him, he should use the website and get well I assume he’s owed
