Actually much better than I expected from a low budget movie. Also I like Kirk Acevedo, I've only seen him in the Fringe series, but I very much enjoyed his coolish style portraying FBI agent Charlie Francis.

Love the beginning of this disater movie - It's got it all!!! Sun is pissed of by some reason, a space shuttle is out of control, Earth is struck by meteorites, the Elite is babbeling about whats best for the next election... and Mercury seems to have It's mind set on planet Earth (just guessing, just about 25 minuter into the film) It's got the whole shebang, and I think this will help me to heal faster... For a low budget movie, it was actually quite good. If they had a bigger budget for better special effects and a few other changes, this would've been a great movie. The acting was actually good.

OF COURSE people may have opinions about a movie, about ot being realistic or not, of whether it is scientifically acceptable or not, whether it is good or not. Everybody has the right to have an opinion, even if that opinion may not be aligned to yours. It's not "sadly" have demands. Probably EVERY SINGLE MOVIE ever made has gone through a trial of acceptance by its viewers and critics. So it is not "sadly" as you said it... but "inevitably" might be a better word.
