Industrialization actually started a lot earlier than most people realize. Britain was partially industrialized by the Napoleonic war. By 1910 the only countries in Europe which weren’t heavily industrialized were pretty much just Balkan countries and Russia. Even then Russia had several industrial centers in major cities. The Ottomans were partially industrialized starting in the 1840s or so with modernization efforts. Greece is somewhat special as it was astonishingly agrarian with some scholars saying that a proper Industrial Revolution never happened in Greece, as some of the only industrial development was in the agricultural sector with things like canneries, factories for processing tobacco etc. just about the only proper heavy industry Greece had was ship building to aid in their reliance on trade for foreign industrial goods.

Great vudeo! Just a head up, there is a better command to fix borders like you did in the end of the video. You pick the state by clicking on it with your mouse and type setowner (country tag) in the console and it just gives you the state you are hovering instead of annexing the whole country.

Neutrality for the greek tree in GWR isn't actually neutrality, its the central powers path and lets you form byzantium

Two things regarding the re-annexation of Izmir and the ceding of the Straits to the Turks. A military comission sent by the United Kingdom under Admiral Bristol concluded that the lands were in-fact not majority Greek and the Greek occupation was an annexation, recommending the withdrawal of Greek forces to be replaced by a smaller Allied force. The straits, originally intended to be handed over to the Russians were instead put under the Straits Comission. Their administration was, however, something that cannot be accurately portrayed in HOI4. Basically, the land was administered by the Straits Comission, their currency used and flag was flown over the territory however Konstantiniyye still remained the Ottoman capital. So despite not having a political say in the administration of the region, Ottoman leadership still resided there. Something that probably can only be portrayed in HOI4 by a national spirit and a demilitarized zone.

literally nobody wants to change any borders, irredentism is dead in modern politics, 15yo kids on instagram do not shape the policy of either country, Greece and Turkey are NATO allies, although they still have some disputes over Cyprus and the Aegean sea they have peaceful and cordial relations with a tad of an arms rivalry going on.
