Most hours played hmm now that's impressive because i would of thought transport fever would of racked up the most, UNTIL I started playing satisfactory myself, oh boy its so relaxing you get lost in building huge projects that I could quite happily spend the day on it. I liked the sound of the underground railway with the factory on top, the glass lattice windows entrance. I hadn't noticed before that that type of concrete was one tone basically perhaps paint it a nice shade of lemon.......

It's my personal preference (if I can't work with utilitarian industrial revolution red brick) so it shouldn't disappoint.

Not sure if you are using alt recipes, but some of the alts that use water and refineries instead of smelters you can produce a whole load of stuff, and you can do the logistics of importing water which I don't think you are messing with yet. If they drop 1.0 soon, you could be looking at a month to bring everything back online, and probably not worth starting computers until then as they are dropping the need for screws I think.

Yeah, I'm aware of the recipe changes, so holding off on making secondary resources for now.

As others have said some of these buildings remind me of some university architecture, and with regard to your comment about the inside not matching the outside those buildings don't exactly look like they just have classrooms and lecture theatres in them, so again the same mismatch. A certain element of the outside being for show? You could easily make classrooms very boxy and dull, but thankfully we've moved on from the brutalist era!

Just me, but I like the sterile concrete edifice that's largely unadorned with only large geometric shapes (the oval "windows") as a nod to aesthetics. Very brutalist.

did you legit move through the tech tree? or did you just start with all unlocked? I noticed you keep mentioning starting later tier stuff, but you already have aluminum going. So did you handcraft everything or just unlock to start with or the map editor?

I did all the grinding on the initial burner base (see the start of the series) to unlock everything I'd need for the project. Since then I've split out that original build into what we have now. I haven't finished the tech tree, that'll come when I've replicated everything needed to get this far.

First game over 1000 hours? I would figure you had thousands in both TF 1 and TF 2. Just over 2200 hours in TF 1 and almost 1000 in TF 2 here.

Transport Fever - 900 hours Transport Fever 2 - 600 hours With the second game particularly, almost every hour played was committed to video.

Does anyone see the mistake the devs made with the traintracks? All the trains are fully autonomous and work not like how when a human would operate it. Yet, for a fully automatic system with robotic control, the tracks are sectioned by light-signals that are made to inform a human operator... weird.

It's a concession for the humans who play the game. Additionally, since you can personally operate a train, knowing that entering a full block risks an accident, or blockage that stops the network is essential.
