Qazi, man you have a gift for teaching this stuff! I've been teaching myself the art of color grading for about two years now, by reading and watching a lot of different KZbinrs. You are by far the biggest wealth of knowledge on KZbin to date for this. The gift you have is not just how you're able to pass on your knowledge with such a fundamental understanding, but the with the passion that inspires others to push their creative limits. Thank you very much for sharing this with all of us. I've watched a lot of your in depth videos, and learned to use so many tools in DR, but I think you're really on to something with this type of tutorial... short, but very impactful with using minimal steps and minimal tools. I'm hoping you can show us more videos like this using all the other different tools that DR has to offer. Looking forward to the next one man!

This was so great! Thank you man. I just started video editing last week and now you have given me a good grasp of a colour grading system and methodology, using a tool which I'm extremely new to. And, I should add, I followed along and did the same in DaVinci at the same time. For me, that really cements the lesson from information into memorable and repeatable actions. Your point at the end - about not waiting for something before you start - is something I'm getting into my mental system right now. Really just releasing all the blocks and getting going on whatever it is I want to do! Starting NOW means that I am gaining experience and knowledge and skills immediately. Waiting until tomorrow or tomorrorrow means that I am... not gaining anything. Massive thanks man 🙏😁

@@gagegarza how? How is your workflow?
@gagegarza4 жыл бұрын
Hagazo Capivaril most of the time it’s a convoluted mess. There are features in premiere and in davinci to where you can export a timeline from one software to another(there are a few tutorials on these you can look at) but that way doesn’t always work the way you want it to. Another way is to edit ur clips in premiere like you normally would, then whatever clips will be in the final cut you can take the original files into davinci, color them, export the highest quality you can, and then drag the colored files into premiere and match them up to your edited sequence.

i liked the simple grade workflow; i tend to over complicate things. this showed me how to get good results with simplicity and not a crazy node structure, with a lot of nodes pulling different keys. i need to try something simple the next time i grade because i tend to over complicate things with nr and other ofx gpu intense effects which makes my computer's gpu grind to a halt, now i will try a simple solution like you just showed me so i can get good results with overtaxing my gpu. thanks a million, man.

Amazing video. I get out of the military in a couple of months, and I’m thinking about starting a KZbin channel and make videos with my huskies sledding. I want to make my style of videos “moody” and since I’m new to this whole thing, this video helped a lot and opened my eyes to a side of filming I never knew existed. I thought the only key to making videos was film, edit, and maybe a filter. But I have fallen in love with color grading and I’m planning on learning as much as I can about it to help my videos look better and feel more of an experience.
