Color well with cheap watercolor pens ( VS Markers, pencils etc)

I use watercolor markers on plastics, and often I just draw right on the plastic with the marker and add a little water with a water brush. I find that the tombow markers work pretty well. For travel though, I really like to use peerless watercolor sheets that I've cut and made into a booklet. It's lightweight, dries fast and travels very well.
