Thank you! There was about a hand full of days that I didn’t get rained on.

I did the trail a few weeks after you started. I feel your pain with the weather. Our bad times were the middle 20 days of hike--through Collegiates and beyond--and it was a tough time. But, so many good times too. I'm enjoying your videos, in part, because your schedule and mileage looks almost exactly like mine. Bringing back many good memories. Well done

@@OldHikerMan It sure was an adventure. The weather was only an annoyance in the moment. Lots of memories made and some of the best memories were with folks I met along the trail. Thanks for watching!

Tough days on the trail when the sky is falling. Sometimes you just need to hunker down and wait it out. Dry camp, no problem, just collect rain from the sky running off your tent. LOL. Hope you start having better weather. Take care.

I learned a lesson on this trip. unless it's lightning a lot and the wind gets too extreme, you just puss on through. Thanks for watching!

I’m enjoying these videos and want to do the Colorado trail myself! Can you post a video on the logistics aspect of the hike? You mentioned your truck was in Durango. I would be interested in how you got to Denver and how you planned and implemented your resupply, or any resources you could share.

@@jaybradford1311 Thank you! I drove to Durango and stored my truck with Buckhorn Limousine. Flew to Denver and rode light rail to Littleton where I stayed at a hotel until shuttling to the trail. My resupply was done at the local grocery store in the trail towns I visited. For one of the best channels on all things CT, I would recommend checking out Outside Comfort Zone on KZbin. Snackbox has great information for trail logistics.

Man, you guys just can't get away from the rain and hail on this trip. It's not horrible to get rained on. But constant rain where you don't get a chance for all your stuff to get dry, that's tough.

@@CameronHall88 There were times where town was the only place I could get my gear 100% dry. I knew going into this hike that it was likely to be a wet summer. Last year they had a later monsoon season. Not this year.
