Thanks for doing this. Been practicing a little with this, but also using your hedge 6/8 strategy, depending on what point is established. Great stuff as always! Stumbled upon an interesting one up on a forum that an older gambler game up with “after 20+ years getting killed on the passline” It has no name so I’m going to call it 4 point don’t hit and run: 1 unit DP + 3 DC If you lose any of the 4 immediately take down any odds and place each of the remaining #’s (working on the come out roll) *this includes losing one before you get to 4 don’t bets What this accomplishes is the early 7 outs are big winners (he calls hitting all 4 donts ‘hitting the grand slam’) And you are only risking one unit per shooter as you will immediately hedge all DONT bets with place bets and can make up for the lost don’t if the place bets hit. He allegedly played $100 units with 1x odds and had the following rules: Lose on DP on comeout? Sit out till 7 out Lose 3 DP in a row? Leave table

What's the max odds you can bet on the don't pass line assuming a $10 table and $10 bet on the Don't Pass?
@ColorUp4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the table and allowed odds. Some tables are 2x on all the numbers. Some are 3x4x5x depending on number. Some tables are 10x. With the dont bet odds those are the numbers you can win. So if 3x is allowed at the $10 table on the numbers 4/10. You can bet enough to win 3x or $30. Because the 4/10 pay 1:2 that means the max odds would be $60 to win $30 in odds.

When I play as the shooter, I start with a $5 don’t, then after the point, I place the point on the line (Place bet) that way, I don’t lose any money after the point is established. I personally don’t like playing the Pass line, technically it’s the best bet in the casino (No house edge) but without a huge bankroll. You’re gonna lose 70% of the time.

In watching so many of these methods i judge them against your favorite method (which have become mine) a large percentage of the time in this method you have to risk $21 and unto $26 where a natural on the come out roll makes you a $10 looser. All of that to hedge your winnings. The player would be risking more to win less than your favorite method; seems like a bad proposition.

It bothers me that this strategy hedges the 5 and 9, but not the 6 and 8. The 6/8 are gonna hit more then the 5/9, so a hedge on ALL the inside numbers would be beneficial if that's part of the strategy. Still seems like you'd be grinding hard on this one for a while.
@ColorUp5 жыл бұрын
Im guessing no hedge on 6/8 because they are more likely to hit, hedge 5/9 because somewhat likely to hit, and bet against 4/10 because least likely...i would probably consider this a grind strat
