The casino never buys chips from a player; most of the time no. Last time I was in Vegas, I played Mississippi Stud and cleaned out the dealer's rack of reds from a couple of wins, (Paid color for color). Nice video as always CU. Yea a couple of people have pointed out about the Bar 12 on the Don't Pass would have made a big difference in the final result. This system is actually not that bad. Playing like a D'Alembert System with the Don't Pass. You can actually start this as low as $20 DP and go $20, $30, $40 (or $45) etc. And play the rest of the bets just like a real Iron Cross, increasing the $6 and $8 Place Bets as you go up on the Don't Pass bet. For those with a realistic bankroll. And you can reset back down to the lowest DP bet as soon as you have recouped all your winnings from the previous high.

I do see the merit of this strategy but also I can see where it could be improved. After a few score hits every collection could bump up the place bet which is the point and regressing place bets exposure on the rest of the numbers thus increasing potential profit margin on the 7 but also limiting loss margin on the point hit. Say point is a 4 you can easily bump up from 30 to $100 to hedge it. Once you are there stop regressing and continue collecting.

Better to just play the dark side with the odds. Alot of people try to outsmart the game and there simply is no better way to play 😆 I know I say it alot but its true. I would be an absolute nervous wreak if I had that much money on the line. I tend to run into cold craps tables often where a don't strategy would have done some good but I always fear the day I try one it will be the one where we actually get some decent shooters. Incidental if I did have the balls to try this, I would actually press the place bets if the points are being hit, starting with the 6 and 8 since the field bet is lost when those hit, then the 5.

Color Up If I have lost my bet a few times and then am up to $450 or $675, I go back down to $200 when I finally win instead of taking only 50% off the bet. Also when you are putting that high of a Don’t Pass bet, will not recoup much with your place bets of $30. The whole purpose of putting $200 in place bets and field bets is to compensate for your $200. If your Don’t Pass bet is up to $650, they don’t mean much anymore. Your only hope is to hit a 7. So in the meanwhile, I up my 6 and 8 bets to get something more when they hit and take your field bet away
@guidosarducci166
@guidosarducci166 4 жыл бұрын
@@guibox3 I kind of like this idea. I think I might experiment with removing the field and upping the 6 and 8 by a unit. The field really does seem like a leak in this system, but I think the idea with it (and all "iron cross" type strats that employ the field) is to get action on every roll. Still, Field is one of the worst bets on the table. I'm curious about dropping all the way back to step 1 on the don't pass win. I haven't had time to really think through the math, but on the surface, I think it might be leaving money on the table. That being said, it might be a more prudent strategy when you're dealing with a small bankroll like the $3000 in this video. I'll play around with that and see if it helps.

This method is not for me but it was fun to watch. I know you played $25 in the field for convenience sake but that extra $5 won when the 6 or 8 shows and field goes down, can really throw a wrench in the works and mess with the long term math. However, the horn numbers more than made up for it in your example. Good to see another video... Keep 'em coming!

No. One rule when betting the dont, when a shooter knocks your bet down your done with him, and wait for the next shooter, why, you say, because that shooter is the one that can bust you, you DO NOT try and get even or beat a shooter that's making pass line no.s,,, I don't like this betting stategy, because of the come out 7, that 7 or 11 can roll 4,5,6,7 times in a row, and crush you with this raising your bet by half, no thank you, you can keep this one, I'd rather just lay the against the 5or 9 and when I get my money back on my place bet numbers, pull down the lay bet, because it served it's purpose at that point, then start pressing,,still appreciate your videos, keep up the good work, good luck everyone, hope you find a monster roll!!

Played a slightly modified version of this the last two days and ended up +$3400. Started with $100 on the don’t and went 96 across after the come out with 10 in the field and added a $10 come bet. When it traveled I only took $10 odds on any number, which ended up paying for themselves as they hit giving me basically a free bet on each number. Always had a come bet to cover the field in the event of a 7 and the working come bets paid 22-30 off and on throughout the duration of the roll. Had a couple sweaty moments when my don’t bet worked its way up to $750, but eventually the 7 came long with a couple crap come outs working the bet down to the original base. Real money is made as you come back down through the progression. Every now and then I would sprinkle in a come out yo or some hard ways to hedge.

I like this strategy! Obviously the risk is on the come out rolls and point after but if you can weather the storm on first roll and point... it’s consistent collecting. I might do this in a month on my trip to Mohegan BUT employ using field wins to cover 4,9,10 then collect and if it’s a hot roll... press 5,6,8... might make sense to hedge come out with any 7 to cover a little bit. I also don’t see myself playing with 3000 but might throw down 300 lol

Nice video. However, the problem with this and every other strategy where one bet or set of bets is hedged with another bet or set of bets, is that every single bet is still an independent event. There is no difference in probability and house edge when playing this strategy, versus placing every bet sequentially one at a time. None. So, what does that mean? The place/buy bets still carry the exact same house edge as they always have. Same with the field and don’t pass bets. The house edge is unchanged. Field bet is for suckers, as the house edge is too high. Always has been. Guess what? It’s still too high when you place a field bet as part of a strategy. Field bet should NEVER be placed, unless you just like giving money to the casino. You can’t do better than playing the don’t, with odds. In the long run, it’s impossible to better. Playing $200 on the don’t, with no odds, on a $10 table is foolish. Minimum bet on the don’t with max odds is a much better play. Always.

First, we know. There is, literally, NO system that has a long term +EV in craps. None. If you want a +EV proposition in a casino, get a job dealing. The different strategies have different strategies. Some are designed to keep you playing for a long time (the "get blatto for the minimum amount" systems), and some are designed to hit quick and get out (the "fire and maneuver" systems). This is one of the latter systems. Can you get rekt? Sure! Can you get rich? Sure, if you have the wherewithal to walk away and never come back once you've robbed that bank! Your specific gripe about the field bet is valid. I'm not sure why that's there in this strategy, unless the motivation is to generate some action on every roll. I feel like you to, that it's a leak in this system. Clearly, if you're trying to play to minimize the odds, there's a specific way to play. That's not the spirit of this series, and the OP has made that clear on many occasions. He is given systems from the viewers that he vets in real time here.

I can see using this strategy on a cold table, but you have to adjust your strategy according to how the table is going. You are forcing the dark side when the table is hot and losing your shirt. You should put in the dark side bet and only use this for the 4 or 10, maybe the 5 or 9 if you want to risk it. I would not keep $300 dollars on the No Pass for a 6 or 8 that is just asking for trouble. Remember you can always take down your Dont pass bet, and if a 5,6,8.9 comes up, you can pull the Dont pass bet or decrease the bet a bit to mitigate a big loss and play place bets if you feel the shooter is going to hit some numbers. flexibility is the key to survival on the tables, especially with random rollers.

I disagree. Yes, the chances are bigger of hitting the point before the Don't, but at any level other than $200 on the Don't it's still +EV to leave the Don't out there (it's slightly -EV at the first level, but even that serves a bigger purpose later in the game).

Once a point is establish i wil place odds to double the bet return and After the come out i like to take odds on the don't Pass, place 6 & 8 at twice the Minimum Bet and wait for a hit. At this point i have three bets covering 6, 7, & 8 which are the three most common numbers rolled at the table, and even 7 doesn't hurt me... If i get a hit, i buy a five at twice the minimum, and then anything after that is going to be a field bet at 1/2 the units as the Bank. He normally would put a writing disclaimer where the mistake was made, and everyone would have just had a small laugh, and let it slide. He didn’t do that. Good strategy but bank roll would scare most people. Could start with 35 on the DP and reduce each box bet accordingly. Then if/when you throw a natural win stack and double the box bets. Free hedge. With that said,when playing the DP you should never lift a natural win 2/3. Why would you refuse a 1:1 payout before setting a point only to place odds at 4:6 or 1:2 after the point is set. If you don't like the number most casinos will let you remove your DP anyway. It's a game of numbers so always play for Maximum win at minimum risk.same goes for DC. The dealers will always prompt odds or pressure on your bets after a win but will never ask you do you want to stack a natural win on a DC bet . Play your own game don't let somebody else play it for you.

Like all craps strategies, this works great until it doesn't. Just now I was practicing this, and I rolled six straight combinations of either a 7 or 11 on the come out and it wiped out my bankroll because I would diligently increase the Don'tPass bet by 50%. Now in real life I'm certain I would hedge or something, but it just goes to show no strategy is immune to getting kicked in the teeth.

I'm curious is there's a stop loss on the martingailing the Don't? I was messing around with this system and all was fine and good (up $3300) when out of nowhere I got steamrolled by winner 7/11's. I rapidly found myself staring at a $3000+ Don't pass line bet which, of course, got swiped on yet another winner 7. Oh, and after $675, the math starts to get wonky. Next step is $1012.5... If we are to continue to martingale our way to the floor watching the action, we either have to round or we will be betting a rainbow.
@ColorUp
@ColorUp 5 жыл бұрын
Martingales are tough to stomach. As far as stop loss, I would set it at your comfort level. lets say its 1000, it certainly tough to cut your loses at that point and start over, but that is the drawback of martingales.

Maybe use the Stern method on the don't pass line bet and field bet. Is the four and ten really necessary? Also, some insurance on the come out roll by betting on the eleven and when the point is even, bet a little on the appropriate hardway. Just my initial impression. Good job presenting an interesting but for me, an unnerving strategy. I was holding on to my chair.
@MS-ef1gy

Hi Danny, I have run a lot of simulations on this and it does not pay to bet the eleven on the come out roll. The 2 and 3 more than compensate for the 11 over the long run. I agree this would be an unnerving strategy. It appears that most of the action occurs not with the "ATM" but rather the large progressive bets on the Don't Pass. Color Up does an excellent job of presenting this as usual!

@@MS-ef1gy maybe i spoke too soon. Even at a constant $200 I've gotten smoked more times than win now that I've done it more the last two days. The hard thing with any of these hedging the Don't Pass strategies are you are risking a big bet on the come out roll. Inevitably all you need is a combo of a few points hitting or 7/11 on come out and you're buried. I think these can work if you run hot quickly and stop (like most strategies) but I think over longer sample, you'll always have a few big losing sessions that are hard to overcome. ???? @@davidwishecoby7797 Ha, thanks for watching. Don't pass and Don't come bets are not contract bets. @@education654321 Hedging the point is actually a losing strat with this system, because you're losing that money on the 7 out or if you hit your point the soft way. This system does make a little money from the place/buy bets, but it makes a LOT of money from the Don't Pass when it starts getting expensive. Hitting the point leads to short term variance, but in the longer run this leads to profitability. The issue with this system is that realistically there are very few people who are willing or able to bring a sufficient bankroll to the table to ride out what could be a severe variance.
