@@rayabney0925 I guess I'm more conservative. People like to press up. I'm of the thinking that no roll will last forever. If you have made some money on a good roll and you can take down the place bets to lock in even more then do that. I might go take, then press then after 3 or 4 presses total I might take the place bets down. That way you aren't relying on a big roll to make money.

Yes, just pull down when you are comfortable. I don't like playing a guessing game and miss out on that long roll. with the 4&10, you press every time, but because it pays close to2:1 you are collecting half and pressing half each time. Pass line you are collecting as you go, and when you are comfortable.

Great stuff guys, really enjoy the real deal calls. I'd like to tell you about my favorite strategy. I call it following the trend. If the seven is showing up a lot I bet the don't, and if we seem to get knocked off that don't then I switch over to a do bet. Instead of lay bets, I prefer the higher payoff of hopping the 7/yo for initial insurance. A small bet on hardways if they are showing up. I like your press and take. But I also completely regress all bets on a pass line win. Also two units on the pass line, and one on craps, when starting a do run. Love my insurance. Peace!

Loved the dealer vibe, so awesome. A couple of observations and of course this is just from my experience on the tables both at home casinos and in Vegas. One, no Odds behind the pass line really limits your wins, even if you just put min odds you should put something there (when he hit the four, it would have paid him 2 to 1 for ten bucks). The other thing is regress your bets after a certain number of hits, and always get your bets paid for first before pressing. That way you are truly playing on house money. Great video and keep up the interesting perspectives ;-)
@neilrichey19985 жыл бұрын
Taking odds does not "limit your wins," it does not change your odds of winning whatsoever. this strategy is meant to maximize the money on the PL on the come out roll; because 7 is most likely to roll, and thats a win. Playing min PL in this strategy diminishes your ability to maximize profits on the Come Out. Having a singular focus on just lowering the house edge has made casinos money since their inception, you have to roll the same number a second time to get payed on the odds bet, where you can be a PL winner with the first roll of the dice. Regression or not is all about the gamble. Minimizing losses and limiting exposure to your bankroll in a -EV can is a critical part of a winning session. As far as getting your 'bets paid for' John totally did this with each 'shooter' 'I'm gonna take my money and run."

I'm def a "minimize my losses" type of player, so I did this great strat with 20 'shooters' on Wizard of Odds, with a slight change. Once I won a $100 PL bet i racked the whole thing (assuming I'm not shooting), and once I hit a place bet on the second press i took it down. I was never down more than $70 from the buy in, and finished up with ~$450 with only two substantial rolls(one did come early), and half the time (10 shooters) getting on all the numbers and Sevening out before any profit was made. Maybe this would help those asking about exit strategies.

Simply brilliant ! I am off to Vegas next week staying centre strip where I hear it’s $15 days and $25 nights in the casinos. Would this same strategy work with those multiples ? I’m guessing it would but just a bigger initial risk.

Play anywhere but the strip! Get an uber if you have to

Yes, it would work the same, but in multiples. If you can afford those amounts comfortably than go for it, otherwise it could be an expensive proposition. and would consider a different style of play or as another comment says, play somewhere off the strip.

The Golden Nuggets has Hi-Lo-Yo Craps tournaments. The buy in was 150.00. It was very interesting! They take the top 3 from each table per round, then whittle it down to the final table. I finished 4th at my table in the 1st round. I learned a lot. Since the tables are packed there aren't many rolls per round because of the time the dealers spend paying off the winners. You have to be SUPER AGGRESSIVE with your bets! Good Luck and have fun!

nice job with the dealers perspective. Is there a reason he doesn't play odds on the pass line or did I miss that?

He would rather have larger bet when he has advantage (2:1 favorite on come out roll ) vs adding more money (odds) after come out when he his more likely to lose than win
