I still don’t get why shades that have warnings to not apply them near the “eye” then why put them into an “eye” shadow palette 🤷🏼‍♀️ doesn’t make sense.

A lot of people use them on their eyes with no problem and personally I use and like having the glitters in the palettes, but the warning is there to let you know that you should make an informed decision if you feel comfortable using them on your eyes with the possibility of glitter getting in your eye, staining, reactions, etc.

Nah, I agree with this. You can find glittery colors that are safe for the eyes, so why risk it?

Really hoped they wouldn't put in any pressed glitters. I like that it's not just the usual pink & red shades that usually come in a valentines themed collection. I've started swapping them out & replacing them with some from my other palettes. x💜x

I’m a cool toned lover and I actually am soo attracted to this palette because the neutrals appear to lean more cool. I think it’s interesting to combine reds with cool neutrals! I’ll have to check it out!

I hope they come out with one too. And they might if the monochromatic palettes stay popular. I personally wasn't expecting a mint palette, but I wouldn't turn down a dark red, teal, emerald or other jewel tones monochrome palettes.

I really appreciate the way you do videos and makeup. I'm the type of person of does way too dramatic makeup just everyday because I find it fun and I like to experiment, but seeing your videos, you're usually able to help me see looks that utilize fun colors but still are "everyday" if that makes sense. More everyday than what I tend to do anyways haha. It just helps to see ways to use pretty colors without going overly dramatic, which many other beauty KZbinrs tend to do more dramatic looks that are very difficult to do for everyday.

Thanks for this video. So helpful, as always! What bugs me is that CP releases these seasonal palettes but not far enough in advance for people to use during the actual time-period. With their processing time and shipping, this wouldn't arrive within two weeks. Love your content! Agree about the glitters - they should opt for SS, foil or more duochromes in their palettes instead.

I’m realizing I’m in the majority but Honestly this is the palette I’ve been waiting for from Colourpop (especially now that I can see the comparisons to Whatever and Exes&Ohs). It’s really really tempting and I’ll probably buy it. It’s honestly my perfect palette-the right mix of red and pinks plus gorgeous aesthetic and the foiled red is calling my name.

Gotta say, I'm not a huge fan of red and pink eyeshadow OR of Valentine's day, but I kinda dig this pallette because it goes a little darker rather than cute. I don't understand why CP keeps putting pressed glitters in there though! They HAVE to hear the feedback about them. They should really put these glitters into singles instead of with the actual eyeshadows 😩

They should do more of the super foiled instead of the pressed glitter. Maybe even rerelease all the pressed glitters in the monochrome palettes as super foiled shadows in a single palette.

I don’t think there are any really similar shades. The lighter mattes in the she palette are much more coral pink and the burgundy shade is a lot more plummy-berry toned. There is one rosy shimmer that might be similar, but I think it’s s a bit more cool-toned than the ones in this palette. I think the reds in this palette are a bit warmer and more brown than the ones in the she palette

Two things that will disqualify pretty much any palette for me are: a) pressed glitter, and b) black with sparkles... also, still prefer the 9 pan formate (6 to 9 pans are my ideal sizes for eye shadow palettes - with 12 pans being a stretch for really interesting colour schemes)

Those earrings are AMAZING! And I like that they went with a more vampy Valentine’s Day palette. I’m on the fence about buying it-I’ll probably put it in my cart and wait for awhile to see if anything else calls my name more. That foil shade is really interesting tho. It's an Ulta exclusive (for now at least). They added it to the site for a few minutes then removed it because it wasn't supposed to be released yet. Motilda Mulgrew has a KZbin video on it. She somehow swiped it during the few minutes it was available and they surprisingly fulfilled her order.

The best red palette is JSC's Blood Sugar. All of his palettes are vegan, and the pigmentation is fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of Jeffree Star, but I have to give him credit when it's due.

@@GROWCHEMOME you should definitely try one of his palettes. His formula is one of the best formulas on the market. I own Blood Sugar and Blue Blood. Both palettes are phenomenal, but I prefer Blood Sugar. The top row of Blood Sugar is all neutrals so it makes the palette less intimidating.
