I love Nightmare before Christmas and I love the packaging but wish the color story was more reflective of the movie.

I understand you on that 1. There is no green there's no Reds Or misty blues The palate feels like a recycle of an older colorpop make up pallet Or left over shadows they didn't know what to do with.

@@alittleoddme1940 Honestly even like Blowing Smoke feels more like NBC to me. I am perfectly happy to have colour, but the palette just seems disjointed. Exactly like they had leftovers and threw it in.

The neon theme was great imo, doing a few bright pops of color paired with grungy neutrals made a lot of sense. The colors of the gel pots, the lack of any green whatsoever, and those lipstick colors really lost me though.

I want to love this but it just doesn't feel like the movie to me, even though the packaging is cool. If the palette subbed 2/3 pinks with a goulish green and maybe a midnight blue or something or actually committing to the Christmastown red, I'd get the vibe more. Maybe have a bright green jelly instead of one of the pink/purple. Disney always goes safe with lips, so meh. Everything else feels fine, but the only thing I want is the Zero sponge tbh.

I have hooded eyes and the jelly much shadows don't crease on me. I use them with NYX glitter glue and they don't come off until I take them off. Be sure and put the lid back on them tightly so they won't dry out. If they do dry out on you, they can be revived with contact solution and will still work beautifully. Last but not least, a little goes a very long way with this formula. I'm in love with the colors of the jelly much shadows too. I hope I can get my hands on them before they sell out. This collection is beautiful, don’t get me wrong. I know I’m going to put a target on my back by saying this, but I’m not a fan of NBC. It’s very overdone; HOWEVER, this was a beautiful collection. I’m confused on the palette’s color scheme but it works. I just wish it went more with the movie because that would be a cool tone dream! Regardless, I’ll be purchasing! I wish they had a representation of Oogie, he was after all the big villain of the movie. I am mocking up something that I would have done if I would have been in charge of the color story, basing the colors chosen off the movie poster and scenes from the movie. BTW the pink and purple represent Sally. Her dress was Black, Yellow, Blue, Pink, Purple, and I believe Green too. They could have ran with those colors a little more. They also did a good job of a color for Zero. But Oogie!!!! So sad.

As for the collection, I am not a big NBC fan and I actually get a little bitter that it takes over my favorite ride at Disneyland for like a third of the dang year. I would definitely have bought it if the colors spoke to me but they don’t. Just not for me. The only things I really liked were the nudey pink and red lipsticks and i already have like a million iterations of those. Also it’s cool to have the stuff glow under black light but how many people have black lights? I don’t mean to be coming off as super negative, I hope people enjoy and use this collection but it’s just not for me. Thanks for getting the video up so fast and honestly, feel better soon!

I got hit by an SUV on the highway while going 70 he hit me in the back side of my car so basically did a pit maneuver on me and sent my car spinning in 4 lane traffic and a tractor trailer just missed me by a centimeter literally and before I got control of my car I almost went into a ravine. All my airbags released and I couldn’t see anything while I was trying to take back control of my car it was crazy. I ended up with seatbelt bruises and airbag chemical burns on my face and arms along with whiplash and the tractor trailer that just missed me had the footage of it all on his dashcam. The guy who hit me I guess suddenly realized he wanted to get off the exit all the way to the right 4 lanes across and went to go over without giving a crap and hit me and cut off many others and was looking like he was gonna make a run for it as well. Then a few years ago I was hit by a drunk driver (he was in his company truck) as well and he ran and ended up on my road to visit his in laws lol he was caught, scumbag.

Terrible color story for a Nightmare Before Christmas collab. It should’ve been a cool toned palette with greys, blacks and purples. The movie is very dark and grey…. But we get Neons? Ugh, very disappointed.
