I'll always love his music. Makes me miss a time I never got to be a part of.

Hmmm, mixed feelings about this. I'd like to hear Colter's real singing voice... seems like he's searching for it, but this just ain't it.

Shut up this is from 2018 he reposted, Colter always had a great voice in all of his versions from Imaginary Appalachia to the new Album Little songs, I've been listening for him for 7 years you are the first negative comment about him I've ever seen

I like the genre, but I just don't think Colter has found his true singing voice yet. It feels more like an act than a heartful performance. Takes time. Hell, it took George Jones years and years to find his true voice and style... and then, he became the GOAT.@@Hell.on.foot1

He's been going for years my friend, listen to the brewery sessions. This man has always had his own "singing voice" one of the best of this generation habds down. I'm an old man and heard it all from the 30's onto today. This is a great musician and can compete with yesterday and tomorrow. Please just listen to all his works before you cast judgement. An absolute legend in the making that won't get to radio because he's old school.
