I took my towing package off, used a tape measure paint marker steel plate and a welder to make my brand new 37x12.50 mt fit. It was a bigger job than i figured but worked out and now im glad i did. Got to have a matching spare tire and wheel in the Rockies.

for the brake dust these super duty’s are know for brake dust, that’s because they still have the motorcraft pads which emit a lot of dust. I recommend changing the pads to a good brand and make sure the material is ceramic, this will lower the brake dust by a whole lot. some people have good luck buying the duralast gold pads. but any ceramic pads should lower dust .

I have the same truck just one year older, and I had very bad brake dust on my front wheels I watched one of PSTT with Arod videos on his truck doing the same thing. He mentioned on putting a set of Extreme Power stop brake pads on and never had a problem with squeaking on brake dust ever again. I did the same thing all around my truck and it actually worked, I never had a problem with brake dust again. I bought my off Amazon for about $150 for front and rear pads. Just thought I would help a brother out. 💪🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸

Colt, idk if you even care. But those brake dust encrusted wheels. Whatever you can’t get off with chemicals, will come off with rubbing compound and a tooth brush. Tedious for sure, but will definitely work and polish the wheels back up while doing so. 👌🏼

You can use a long 3/8 extension and a 3/8 impact and it will save time lowing and raising your spare

Get the APC cleaner. It will take care of all of that brake dust! Thought my wheel was ruined. Took some scrubbing a few times but, brought wheel back to like new! Mine was from brakes getting metal to metal. Also, Powerstop brake’s won’t produce dust. Love em. Z36 pads. Plus 1 for the Michigan plate!

Colt look into Iron remover, that will get rid of all the brake dust for the most part with ease. Just be careful on your initial drive after cleaning the wheels with it. Cause it will decrease stopping ability till your rotors get brushed with pads a few times. Like 1-2 feet of driving brakes applied.

Try Cajun Brown by Cajun Kleen for the brake dust. Just don’t let it sit too long due to being on the corrosive side. So mind painted surfaces. It’ll make the frame look factory new. As far as the shine for the wheels and tires try Cover All #F96 from Oreilly’s. Love these two products.

Use some wheel acid from car brute - water it down a little . It’s great for brake dust , and bug guts - just remember to not let it get on your headlights, clothes or leave on more the. 30-45 seconds on warmer days . Then rinse it ell- it’s so nice on wheels !

I had a set of 37s. They wore really shitty and got very pitted from driving on anything not smooth. Won’t get em again. Pricey and was disappointed with the wear. 18k miles and they looked like shit. Alignment was on point too.

But seriously I thought they had to be tier 4 to get registered in that f'd up place. I'm in WNY so not much better here, but luckily diesel trucks & over 8000lbs don't have to be tailpipe tested like cars - strictly only a safety inspection(lights, brakes, tire tread, e-brake, wipers, etc) for 'heavy' trucks, diesels, etc. If i had a 6.7 instead of my '00 7.3 I'd be doing the weight loss program too tho! 🤔👍🏻👌🏻🛠️🔧🔩⛓️⚡💥💨💨
