I had the chance to meet Shera personally on October 2019 in front of her house in Beverly Hills, Roxbury Drive. We talked for 5 minutes and she was very nice, especially when we spoke about Peter. The only thing was she refused me a selfie because she had no makeup and she was uncomfortable because of her age, 70 by that time.

his second wife, i believe. She cut all his kids off from seeing their father before he died. Cut them all out of the will also, if i recall correctly. Peter Falk's daughter initiated the laws that many states now have in effect (the Peter Falk's Law) that requires conservators to notify other family members, allow visitation rights, etc. Needless to say, Shera Danese doesn't come across as a very good person in my eyes, based on all of this.

As the disease hampered his mind he wasn’t too aware of that or that his family wanted to see and visit him near the end. Their daughter let everyone know what was happening and has pushed for changes in the law so that things like this won’t happen again and a few states in America have taken up these “Peter Falk” laws.

Peter Falk was married for 16 years when he met Shera Danese while filming Mikey & Nicky in 1976. He married her in 1977. She started "acting" in Columbo episodes soon after. When Peter Falk was suffering from dementia, she kept all family and friends away from him and everything under her complete conttol.
