yaswanth kumar Good Question , Columnar cipher is symmetric cipher method and in symmetric cipher we assume that key is share between sender and receiver , so Key 3 should be know to receiver . u should count the no of letters in the cipher and divide them on the no. of the key digits in this case divide 12 on 4 means 3letters in each coloumn
