Let a and b be two prime numbers, let n = ab and Φ = (a−1)(b−1). Then, select a random integer e with 1 < e < Φ such that gcd(e, Φ ) = 1. Compute d such that 1 < d < Φ and ed Ξ 1(mod Φ ). The public key is (n, e) and the corresponding private key is (n, d). The encryption of a message m is defined as c = me mod n and the decryption is defined as m = cd mod n . Answer the following question regarding RSA: A. Prove that decryption works. You can take help of example to prove this.

Alice and Bob agreed to use RSA algorithm for the secret communication. Alice securely choose two primes, p=5 and q=11 and a secret key d=7. Find the corresponding public key. Bob uses this public key and sends a cipher text 18 to Alice. Find the plain text.
