This tune is probably one of the tunes that evolved the most over the process of making this record. The orchestral intro as actually originally part of the song before it (Time We Have Left) -- And THAT song was supposed to build into some kind of half-time DnB heaviness. But I separated them and started writing different lyrics for each tune, and it all made so much more sense... And I really wanted to have a banger at the end of the album. It's also a type of DnB I don't normally mess with, so I wanted to change some things up and have that whole percussion build section in the middle. Loved doing the guitars for this one.

Lyrics: EDIT: I had an older version of the lyrics -Verse 1- I signed my effigy And pushed it from the highest towers It fell fast, but not to speed Now I don’t know Am I ever gonna cross the limits placed on me but not on you What am I to do about this? Waiting on some latent power Gauging at ever turn -Chorus Multi- You are bound to breach the speed (I am out of reach) (signals beacon) And break escape velocity (Over your shoulder) (I’m under cloud cover) From the wars [ now you’re in a dream ] (The sky is wide and you are streaking through the atmosphere) You never chose to fight Inside of you [ But can you find some solitude? ] -Verse 2- Vapour trails Are the finite whispers of A doubled vision Of higher dimensional ruins -Bridge- What am I to do about this? Nothing I can do about it -Chorus- (I am out of reach) (Signal beacons over your shoulder) (I’m under cloud cover) Free from the wars (The sky is wide and you are streaking through the atmosphere) That you need to not to fight alone, alone (I am out of reach) [ Now you’re in a dream but you can you find some solitude? ] (singal’s weakened, over and out now, over and out yeah)

I was thinking the exact same thing. If Raizer ever remixes any of his songs, I am praying that it will be this one.

@@mistakenotou7681 Good ear! The original song that became the 2 were originally built when I was doing solace. It was supposed to go on Solace, but I was never happy with the outcome in that context.

@@Marshall_Francies Personally i'd prefer remixers to work on stuff that's farthest from there own style. For the challenge, and for the potential new ideas and sounds.

@@Comaduster is this about the half of the guy that is trapped in a blackhole? Probably another pov for shadowsphare?

Reminds me of hollow worlds and maybe that's why I liked it so much ! Good job on that! Your sound is distinct and has a particular kind of sadness embroidered throughout. A very subtle nostalgia mingled with pain. It's a very complicated of a feeling, but I get it every time I listen to your music ❤️

That's a really cool observation. I put great effort into making my music emotional, but ambiguously so. I want the emotions to kind of fall through the cracks, and leave the listeners left with fragments of them. Then have them put them together themselves to give them their own meaning. That's usually why there are a lot of literally and metaphorical meanings behind the songs. There are a lot of interweaving things happening to play on emotion. It's interesting that you mention nostalgia, because that's a big part of it for me too. But yeah, a general message in my music with Comaduster is that emotion is ambiguous and a lot more complicated than with thing it is. Is it even a thing? (oh the therapy sessions).
