Love your channel. You always begin with a clean hypershade graph network. Easy for me to follow

Sometimes you have to start with a simple hypershade! :) Glad it was helpful, Ken, and thank you for your comment!

how to handle a huge scene? is it using reference editor is fine to keep up with the performance of you system? or some other method
@AcademicPhoenixPlus5 жыл бұрын
Referencing your items will help. If it gets really extensive, you'll probably want to render in layers. So characters in one, background in another, so on. It'll render faster that way.

Hi, Can you make a tutorial on how to isolate a refection of an object from the floor (similar to shadow isolation) so you can easily composite the object on a different background/floor in PS or AE
@AcademicPhoenixPlus6 жыл бұрын
Hi John, Thank you for your comment. I think that's a great suggestion! Separating elements like reflections definitely help with compositing. I'll add it to my list. Thank you for the suggestion!

Can you make a tutorial about how to solve the rampshader problem? It's not supported anymore since Arnold were implemented. I could figure out how to do it, but I still see a lot of people having trouble with it.
@AcademicPhoenixPlus7 жыл бұрын
That's a good suggestion. Thank you! I'll add it to my list. :)

hello We can only use aiAmbientOcclusion with mixshaders or we can apply it to all our scene? Im asking because i used the classic texture AO for every object (and now i don't understand if i must use textures or aiAO) and that is something new for me
@AcademicPhoenixPlus6 жыл бұрын
Hi JS Powers, thank you for your comment. You can definitely apply AO to your whole scene if you want to. Do you mean, rendering out just an occlusion scene? Here is a video on how to do it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4vceKSepdxnjrs around the 2:20 mark. Just ignore the render layers, and apply to the whole model instead... Hopefully that's what you are looking for! Exporting AO textures are great if you want to add them into your textures, or use them as reference to add detail in your model. I hope that helped!

How do you preview the node you're working on? I click on ambient occlusion node and still see the end result of the mix instead of just the ambient occlusion (Nvm, Isolate selected in Arnold Render view)
