It looks the same as how I learned it, minus the short needles. And I never liked knitting and crochetting... though I love the results people get 💖

Omg, I learned it on long needles too. But the short ones are so handy! It's ok not to like it. For me it's a bit like fidgeting, I get to move my hands almost mindlessly, which helps.
