The Sayyad-2 is a canister-launched, reverse engineered version of the RIM-66 Standard Missile (SM-1) naval surface-to-air missile that Iran obtained from the United States before the 1979 revolution.[4] It is an upgraded version of the Sayyad-1 system with higher precision, range and defensive power. The range of the Sayyad-2 missile is not known. Different sources claim various numbers, from 60 km to 120 km.

Rifle is called when a pilot launches a Air to ground missile regardless of type. Magnum is called when an Anti radiation missile is fired. Fox 1 is semi active Fox 2 is IR missiles. Fox 3 is Active guided missiles. Paveway is laser guided bomb launch. Pickle is called when releasing dumb bombs. I believed Fox 4 used to be guns. That was switched to simply. Guns guns guns. There's more but these are the most common.
@tylerouimette29348 ай бұрын
a couple more common ones are. Raygun, when a pilot locks an unknown target. This is usually followed by Buddy spike, prevents friendly fire. Mad dog, is when an AMRAAM is launched without a target launch using the missiles on board radar to find a target. I believe a JDAM launch initially was " Snakeeyess" but I believe they got rid of that.
