There's no language barrier, your english is better than alot of native speakers, sad I know. :/ I gave up JJ on my K9 for 1xLMG(1/2ammo), I use it mainly to force assault and other heavier mechs to turn around so they're not engaging with my team. Works too. lul

Baradul why the 170 engine instead of the 180? doesn't the 180 give you 1 more heatsink?

The only problem I had with your English was "tripping me over" when you noticed your weapon setup was wrong. The usual expression is "tripping me up." It's minor. You speak English very well.

When you put double heatsinks in engine slots, do they count as 2.0 or 1.5 heatsinks?

1.5, only the 10(or fewer in lower engines) that you can't pull out of the engine are double.

If anyone has some links to reliable sites about heat mechanic, i would much appreciate it. What is a heat dissipation of 0.2? Is it 0.2 heat/second? How much more heat dissipation do you get if you don't move? Do you really cool down faster if you shut down your Mech? I heard that the heat capacity on Clan DHS is only 1,4. Is that true? How is the number of heat management calculated (Smurfy's percentage figure makes so much sense there imho) I play this game an awful lot and it is hard to get good summaries about the game mechanics. Help! :D

0.2 per second per year sink. AFAK, moving generates 1 heat per second at under 66% top speed and 2 heat per second if you go above that. Jump Jets produce more heat (don't have an exact value) Clan DHS capacity was covered in recent patch notes, I think (either Jan or Feb patch) (EDIT: nope, it was December 2016; January 2018 had the heat gen node changes and February 2018 had the Heat Dissipation quirks) Heat management is a lie. It might be okay as a ballpark estimate, but doesn't tell you much about your actual heat balance - it doesn't properly account for UACs and treats Rocket Launchers as sustained fire (when they're one shot), and it seems it doesn't cover quirks and skills properly either. It doesn't tell you your actual heat balance nor how long you can sustain fire (both of which are pretty important)

Michael Held Read the patch notes from December 2016. Anything other than patch notes is, in your parlance, "another dude with an opinion" Regarding movement, Rocket Launchers and UACs, you can test that by yourself in the mechlab / testing grounds.

I don't play MWO, just watch your vids and the odd stream (old MC 1 & 2 fan). However I am familiar with MMO's. I was able to understand what you were talking about no problem.

Everything about this video indicates the balance problems with MWO currently. You got a light running 40 side torso armor, out-tanking heavies, throwing out airstrikes for no heat no tonnage no crit slots. Balance is a joke with mechs like this.
