I've been buying more books at Target because they will have these buy one get one half off on books, sales. Last time that happened, my husband and I bought 40 books between the both of us! I wish there were more local bookstores because we love supporting small business, but it's probably really rough running a small bookstore.

I buy almost all my books on ThriftBooks because 1) cheap 2) sometimes it's nice to read a really well loved book [but they also have new books] 3) free shipping and a free book credit Otherwise I have a local indie that let's you text them to order books and brings them right to your car and you know a b loves that convenience

I love buying books on eBay! For Christmas I bought like 8 or 9 slightly used books for $25. And they were like bestseller type ones. Ruth ware, Brandon Sanderson, and a couple other big names. It’s was like buy 3 get one free and they were already cheap as fuck. I went ham. And even though they’re slightly used it’s usually a small business or thrift store that’s the seller which is always better than tossing money to big daddy bezos
