For behind your sink you could have a piece of plexiglass cut to fit so the wallpaper doesn't get damaged . I hope this helps❤

Love the new home! Lots of space and great bones. It looks like it was well maintained. I’m team gas stove, but I live in TX. This is hurricane country. You may lose power for a day, or even weeks. With gas you can still cook food and boil water. My secret to cleaning it is my mom. She comes over, judges me for not cleaning it and then does it herself. Works every time. 😂😂😂

You can clean the gas stove grates just like the oven shelves. I clean them in the bathtub at the same time but add 2 or 3 dishwasher tabs.

When I clean the gas stove grates I actually stick them in the bathtub and let them soak with hot water and soap and then I scrub them in there and rinse them with the shower sprayer hose

If you're looking for a good corded vacuum, I would highly recommend Kirby. They are incredibly expensive new but you can get great deals on a used one. They last forevrer, are etremely well-made, and are easy to repair. I inherited my mom's when she moved that was from 2003 and I gave it to my little sister just recently (she has carpet and I don't). I've personally taken mine apart and replaced a few parts. The parts are affordable and easily obtainable, they also come with a ton of attachments.

Hey ❤ I’m not sure if you can get these in the U.S. but we have what’s called “Henry the Hoover” if you google it should come up straight away. We have a two story house with carpet, wood, and tile, two big dogs and we have had ours for 11 years now. They are super affordable and really last. Only downside is they are quite heavy at least our model and they are corded which is better in my opinion. There’s a few different kinds in the “Henry” range all meant for different things but I really do recommend if you can get your hands on one. There is no filter to clean on them the dirt is just sucked through the tube and goes directly into a bag in the hoover and you just change that bag out as it gets full. ❤

I just love my Kirby vacuum, they are workhorses...a little heavy...but with the automatic drive feature they are like pushing a feather and they will last through your lifetime and become the family heirloom! 😂I have to admit they are pricey brand new but I found 2 one summer at yard sales and I bought them for $20 each...quite a find! I have also heard that you can send them into the factory anytime and they will totally refurbish them for $100 (never done it so I can't confirm). I have always gone with Dirt devils, I get 4-5 years out of them when kept clean and maintained. Everything else I've tried breaks within months and too much money. I vacuum almost daily due to severe allergies. Hepa filters cleaners in the most rooms as well. I would remove the wallpaper from just sink wall, find something more waterproof for that area.

I deal with low visibility. I have to use a magnifying glass to see small print. I had shunt put in at birth. I also had retina detachment. at age27. I also had cataracts removed at 35. How do you cope daily? Hearing your story makes me feel better

Man you know how to clean love your new home. My son has a eye condition they call it usser disease he has same symptoms as you he can't see side to side and night he is legally blind sometimes he uses a cane they say soon it will be like looking through a straw so sad he just turned 50

They had it cut to size at Home Depot and it is truly beautiful and only wipes off to clean if needed. Google info for more info. Oh, wow my ex-husband have that exact same medical condition, he was diagnose with it years ago in his late 30's at almost 60 he still can see, but with blurred vision. The Dr's said it is hereditary, and our son should be tested frequently. Keeping you uplifted! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hi, I’m gas stove baby. I soak my grate in the sink with baking and vinegar for 15 minutes and scrub after everything is remove.

I would stick with shark vacuum (I recommend getting some kind of shark corded upright) , since cheaper vacuums don’t have as much suction and they only last a few months before they break. If you were to get a cheap vacuum you would notice a huge drop in performance.
