Just a tip I would keep cleaning supplies mop broom bucket and vacuums on each floor so you won't have carry it up and downstairs.The house is looking great.

Invest in a dust mop, it will help tremendously. All the sweeping won't be necessary. Change your lamp shades to give them a more updated vibe.❤❤ it's not going to happen in a day. Take your time and make it yours. Its coming along beautifully.

Hi 👋! Beautiful home. I say no to a valance. Get long neutral curtain panels (2) on each side of the window. Leave them opened. I have a bay window as well and they turned out beautiful with the side curtain panels I chose. Make sure the curtains are kissing the floor.

I kinda like the clean window look but this is your house. I would consider a large area rug with a thick pad underneath it for the living room. It will help protect the floor and make it look cozy.

Love the way the house is coming along. The vertical blinds out in your sunroom, they should have a chain to open or close them even to pull them open, or just a wand to pull them open. I've had them when i moved onto my house... and to be honest, I really did not like them. But you make do with what you have. It's been about 15 years since my husband took them down. I hope that helps. I can't wait to see more decorating. The house is beautiful. ❤

@MomLikely we actually disassembled them, taking the slats off and just putting the whole thing out for garbage pick up. In your case, you seem to have a lot of blinds, LOL. But that was what we did with them. We have roller shades that we had professionally installed. They were quite expensive. But there are plenty of other options out there. I have found a lot of different sized clear storage options at At Home for pretty reasonable price. They have held up for a long time and through multiple moves. Edit: Did I see Santa Bears somewhere in there? Memory unlocked! I remember those as a kid from Hudson's. 😊
