@notthecheshirekat2596 Жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness!!! You are the first person I’ve seen make cobbler exactly like I do, and that recipe came down three generations before me. I had an Uncle-in-law (is that a thing? Is now 😂) who loved my cobbler and I made it for him a few times a year and made whipped cream to go with it. He’s passed on, but I think of him every time I make it and the reason he loved it is this: “That is what an actual cobbler is, not a crumb topping. Put real whipped cream on top, and I’m 8 years old again.” It makes me happy that you make yours the same way. 😊 Edit: only way I differ is I put a splash of vanilla in the batter and sprinkle some cinnamon and/or nutmeg on the top depending on the fruit I’m using.

It was okay, but I sure missed my cooking days (the big meals)!!!!!! I just wish I could bake bread like you. I have tried and tried, can't really describe how my loaves turn out but they do not look like loaves of bread!!! hahaha Your's are GORGEOUS!!!!! I've watched countless videos!!! Maybe one day I'll get the hang of it!!!!! I really enjoyed your fun day in the kitchen!!!!!!!

Wow! What a beautiful feast. Thanks for sharing while you cook. You need a dish washer if you don’t have one. The house we bought had one but does not work because it hasn’t been ran for last little over 8 years while the lady was in the nursing home and May leak. I don’t mind doing dishes. Your family is lucky because you are a good cook. Hope you have fun. Happy spring.

I seen u struggling with the cutting board as you chopped the vegetables. Kitchen tip..put a once folded damp washcloth underneath it. Your board will not slip and you will not be at risk of cutting those phalanges off lol. Nice board u have as well. Much love from BC Canada xx

Maybe you’ve already figured this out but you can tell Google to “set a 30 minute BREAD timer” or “set a 20 minute PIZZA timer” and you can also set more than one timer at a time. Again maybe you’ve already figured this tip out on your own. I also forget what I set timers for lol. Works on Alexa as well which is what I use.

I have a very strong stomach and can deal with just about everything except the crap in the sink strainer. Can’t touch it. Or food in my teeth. Gag me with a spoon. I throw seasoning in the pa. That way I don’t have to turn the meat. Just spray the pan lightly with cooking spray before you season it. I also would have coated the the pan with a fairly generous portion of BBQ sauce. I love cooking for guests.

At 00:00:39 Renea said "This is what's on the menu" and just then the window blew open, because the Little Village had to know too. haha That looks so delicious. If your family is smart, they better be there by 6:30 when you serve dinner or they will miss on out some good eats. You make your cobbler just like me. The ratio make it easy to remember. It's just us so I use the 1-1-1-1 ratio for smaller cobbler.

Hey Pretty Lady❤️ Love the cooking ..my family has has quite a few restaurants so I’ve been cooking All my life too (65) now . I wanted to give u a recipe I developed for a pasta salad yrs ago. I’m never liked macaroni salad so I came up with a dressing That became a Block buster favorite in the restaurants and my cake shop.. it dresses the BLT Salad I make.. shells or Mac it doesn’t matter.. add to the pasta shredded carrots , green onions.. ( green part too) for color pop. Black olives, cucs , celery ,tomatoes ( little ones slice in half.. broccoli, optional, salt pepper.. for the dressing...2 1/2 c Mayo,1/3 c. Mustard,1 cup sugar .. less if u don’t want so much .. 3/4 tsp salt. 2tsp vinegar.. stir.. dress ur salad.. top with bacon .. serve over lettuce or with lettuce.. it’s so good.. I’ve given this dressing recipe to many customers.. I hope you try it.. I’m binge watching ur vlogs.. lol.. Love you sweetheart ❤️

That is exactly how I cook my pasta. Just like you. Boil water, pour in Pasta, then salt the Pasta. I salt mine rather liberally. I'm always nervous to see people salt their cold water, then turn on the heat. Just my opinion.❤. What a big dinner you are making. Me too, make really big salads so we can eat the leftovovers.

yes it can. If you choose to use a canned fruit filling then make sure to reduce the sugar to about a quarter cup otherwise it will be very sweet.
