I watched this before, and I shared "the clip" many times, but I always forget that Peter's sin is just that he fell for Jane's shenanigans. No one is a bad person, just these personalities, that week didn't mesh and they just so created some of the best TV ever.

After reading some comments while watching, I expected Jane to be a total ****h. Not so. She may speak her mind but Peter, the great big baby was a complete arsehole. Insulted all three guests then threw them out. And then talks about decorum. smh

Peter is definitely an arsehole, but you can't say that Jane wasn't constantly insulting and provoking him. She literally called him fat on the first night, that is so rude.

Jayne was horrible. She was almost as bad as Peter. If Peter hadn’t reacted so badly at the end it would’ve made Jane look like the rudest person ever.

True. Calling Adam Beaker was rude. He took it in stride though. Speaks more to Adam's character than Jane's

Peter was obnoxious, but put a lot of effort into making what looked like a very good meal. Adam treated Peter unfairly by giving him a rock bottom score when his meal was clearly worth a higher score,, triggering Peter. Jane also triggered Peter by being blunt and only mindful of her own opinion in her host's own home after he thanklessly worked so hard to please them. CDWM is more about guests with psychological deficits who can't behave well with others, and are held up to ridicule. The cooking component is somewhat interesting as well....😳

This is so hard to watch, Jane was awful, Peter wasn't perfect, but she was the instigator.

He called her fat in her home, but that’s acceptable, but God forbid if she said something about him, she didn’t go off on him for calling her fat. Saying that the person is two sizes of Victoria Beckham yeah that’s appropriate. Like she wasn’t an idiot and neither was anybody else when he sat there and said that she look like. Then made the other comments. Then he insults the other guest by saying they’re just there for the experience like they’re not worthy of being there for any other reason. Then he blames Jane for him, not winning when she gave him the highest score. Then he told the other girl she was stupid when she said she didn’t get something because any continue to say well you wouldn’t because there’s nothing up there. Oh I forgot and he said adams food look like vomit. He’s a very cruel person.

@@beaby1977She called him fat the very first night, and then was very overbearing which can obviously annoy people, especially after the fattie called him fat. He's bad for rising to it, but I think he felt extra threatened because his slightly pompous ways had already started to rub the others the wrong way and it was becoming a 3v. The others partly based their hate off the fact that Peter was rude to Jane (Vic Beckham comment) when really that was just retaliation for Jane calling Peter fat.
